Brilliant!

We made a monotone piano. And then we made an album with it. https://goo.gl/tHQ29y

Why email is a better virtual assistant.

(Read my column: http://goo.gl/x2sbzW)

Google is inventing something better than Siri, Cortana, Alexa or even Google Now: artificial intelligence email.

Interacting with a virtual assistant is mostly about talking. You talk to the assistant. The assistant (usually) talks back.

This would be super convenient if your assistant were available to you all the time. But it's not. If you're driving, or at the movies, or in a meeting or beyond a mobile data network, you might not be able to get access. Also: Talking is a natural user interface, but it's not easily reviewable, searchable or made asynchronous.

What if every virtual assistant interaction showed up in email? And what if your virtual assistant actually lived in email?

It appears that Google is exploring this idea:

I think Android TV would have been a smarter move. OS independence is not really the solution.
In its latest attempt to make the operating system happen, Samsung announced today that all of its smart televisions will include a Tizen-based platform in..

General Discussion  -

Make sure you are participating in the discussion on changes to the reseller relationships at the GWC forum. These changes impose a much higher criterion on membership, and will result in many resellers leaving the program.

If these changes are important to you, then it is important that you participate in the discussion.

As I think about this it gets me more and more irritated, we have helped Google over the years, I do not recall them making such a bone headed move before, normally they grandfather prior commitments. I suspect that it is some ex micro softies up to no good. My clients won't be happy and certainly I won't.

I have already quit trying to sell or promote Google Apps. After all I'm getting screwed, why should I support the organization.

While I'm small my prior contact advocacy probably helped several very large organizations make the decision to switch, which is fine, I enjoyed creating that sort of good vibe in the community, even if the sales ended up with large resellers, no longer.

Pissing off a bunch of early adopters and supporters is a really dumb move...

Interesting ...
Last month, Rahul Sood, the guy that launched Microsoft’s investment arm Microsoft Ventures, left the company to launch a new stealth gaming startup called Unikrn.

The rooms are nice, clean and well presented, and the gear is OK. However, there is a lot of sound bleed from room to room which makes it annoying to use.

I have visited Carl's Jr in the US, so I didn't have very high expectations. However, I was genuinely impressed. Sure, this is not high-end food, but for great hamburgers this place is hard to go past.
