Canada General Chat Eh?  -

"Her biggest fear is over what will happen when she dies or can no longer look after Martha."

Care is off-loaded onto family members who eventually burn out and get sick from the stress.

This is typically what happens in Canada: very few families can afford to pay for the help they need, and government support is almost non-existant.

With our aging population this problem will only get worse.

Huey, Louie, Dewey and Fooey Rescued!
A clutch of ducklings trapped beneath the grate of the storm sewer system in Regina were rescued by a quick thinking family who used a butterfly net attached to a hockey stick to retrieve the birds.

Ashes in Bottle: When I die I want to continue polluting the planet.
At least it looks to be glass and not plastic...
When six Vancouver Island paddlers head out from Port Townsend, Wash., on June 4 in a race to Alaska, they'll have a unique passenger on board — they call him Ash, and he's a message in a bottle.

Meh. Better than stuffing you in a box and burying you in perfectly good real estate.
