Casual, lively NYC-style deli serving mile-high sandwiches, black & white cookies & matzo ball soup.- Google
"Love the pastrami and corned beef sandwiches."
"So little good deli here, but this is an exception."

First impression was not that good since employees were gathered smoking right outside the entrance door (on the way in and again on our way out). Service was super slooooow. Seated fairly quickly, but took almost 10 minutes before someone came to get our drink order and then we had to constantly chase someone down to get refills when needed. The portions are large and seemed a bit over-priced (over $125 for 4 of us without dessert or tip). The cabbage soup (which is supposedly a Brent's specialty) tasted like it had a half cup of sugar in the one little bowl - yuck, was expecting savory. My meal was not served until everyone else at the table had eaten half their food. Did not make sense since my order was the brisket plate which was advertised as the "special." And no apology that it was late. On the positive side, the rye bread was very tasty and fresh, served with real butter. With so many options near Los Angeles for excellent deli food, would not go back to Brent's.

Probably as good as thousand oaks has to offer which is a bit like saying the best TexMex restaurant in New York City. Big portions, good quality food, decent prices.

Ordered eggs and home fries, easy enough. Burnt potatoes and poor service is what I ended up with 😕 I had high hopes for this place but shamefully low quality in a cute atmosphere

Excellent military discount. I stop here every time I'm driving through to pickup deli meat and cheeses. Better deal and quality than grocery stores.
