A perfect spot for lunch meetings. The food is of high quality and the price are very reasonable. I occasionally stop by for breakfast and the food is always on par. One of my favorite spots in Westlake Village.
Not the classiest joint, and the service can sometimes lag a bit, but it's all worth it. I keep my eye on the prize when I go after the Black Pastrami Reuben. It really does nearly melt in your mouth. I think I almost prefer it to Katz's Deli in New York. The rest of the food is all pretty good as well, at least I never hear complaints from those I go with, but I'm often a creature of habit at Brent's.
Decent pastrami and corned beef sandwiches. Cuts are thin-medium, moderately tender, and a bit greasy. Bread is below average and sandwiches are not well balanced with ingredients. High prices knock the value down to slightly below average. However, this might be the best Thousand Oaks has to offer for pastrami. Usually very busy. Cool, friendly staff.
Did not like the food as much as Jerry's Deli.
I had the Monte Cristo sandwich, it seemed like the portions were off. It had a lot of bread so it was far more filling than Jerry's, but there was noticeably less meat. I didn't think it was a fair trade off in value. It was so filling in fact that I could not even finish it.
The sandwich also came with strawberry jelly rather than compote.
Lastly, the price was higher than Jerrys.
