In July of 2013, Brent left 3by400. At the time, and always thinking of client's best interests, he left his 3by400 email account in tact in the event Beth or Bridgette ever needed to access old emails between himself and clients to better serve them. It has come to our attention that Beth Snider has maliciously forwarded private emails from this account to other people without Brent's permission, including to a career criminal/convicted felon. In doing so, she gave private information regarding the hosting of someone's account and possibly their passwords to a criminal. This behavior leads us to be concerned that Beth may have forwarded other emails or possibly written emails to people to make them think it is coming from Brent. PLEASE NOTE: AS OF JULY 2013, BRENT GAVE UP HIS BRENT@3BY400.COM EMAIL. THE ONLY PERSONS WHO HAVE ACCESS TO THAT EMAIL ACCOUNT ARE BETH SNIDER AND BRIDGETTE ANDERSON. IF YOU RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM BRENT@3BY400.COM AFTER JULY OF 2013, IT WAS NOT WRITTEN BY BRENT. PLEASE CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM BRENT@3BY400.COM AFTER JULY OF 2013. THANK YOU! #3BY400#BETHSNIDER
For those of us who have even a passing interest in BBQ, we've probably watched an episode or two of "BBQ PItmasters" from The Learning Channel. One of the judges is Myron Mixon from Unadilla. He's the one with the grey hair and beard. His outfit is "Jack's Old South BBQ" where he sells sauces, smokers, cookbooks, classes, etc. Apparently the one-and-only franchise restaurant of his BBQ marketing machine is just a short drive OTP. Go north on I-85 to exit 126 (GA 211, Braselton) and head north for about 2 miles. In a strip shopping center on the right will be Jack's Old South BBQ. But plan your trip carefully: They're only open Wednesday thru Saturday from 11am till 8pm. We've eaten there several times and can recommend them. The pork is tender and smoky, the chicken very tender, and the fried pork rinds are amazing. They have just the right seasoning and when delivered to your table are still crackling. The BBQ sauces are: vinegar, spicy, smoky (my favorite) and a sweet sauce they keep behind the counter but will give you if you ask for it. So far, I haven't had the nerve to try the Jacked Up Onion Rings, which are onion rings layered with pulled pork and nacho cheese. The ydon't make their potato salad, but it's still good. Mac & Cheese is served only on Saturday. Dessert is bread pudding. The Brunswick stew is properly made according to my stew fan: with potatoes and without peppers. Their website is jacksoldsouth1.com. Go and enjoy.
I've watched the show several times and enjoy it. Myron's by far the most entertaining character. I don't know the man, but I get the feeling that he has a pretty good idea of what the reality producers are looking for and he dials up the conflict accordingly.
I wrote a post a few weeks ago about his basic chicken rub, which is one of my favorites.
