So what does one do when jogging through downtown rush hour traffic isn't challenging enough? Juggle things simultaneously, of course.

Today my son and I walk out of my apartment to get some lunch. My neighbor, a sweet elderly lady in her 80's that lives on our floor steps on the elevator with us. As we get to the ground floor and the doors open, none of us move. She looks at me, then down at my son. He looks up at her as he extends his arm to the door and says, "Ladies first."

Chivalry lives for another generation. My work is done here. #win

Cue Tim the toolman Taylor's famous man grunt

This thoroughly exceeds all explosion quotas for a seriously violent man movie. Lot's of chaos and stuff blowing up! Bonus: Charlize Theron too! Can't wait to see this version.

A photographer friend shared this and I found it fascinating. Same guy, same camera, but with some twists the portraits all come out remarkably different.

Awesome without me is just aweso.
Introduction
A little about me then.  I am a graphic designer, a manager, an artist, a development hack, an analyst and a problem solver.  I'm also a blogger, a gamer, a brother, a mentor and a Dad...just to name a few of the hats I wear.

A single label doesn't fit me well, but if I have to pick one I'd cheat and make up my own.  I think "Athletechnologist" sounds good.  I enjoy everything from basketball and football to video games and programming - and so much in between! So perhaps it is a fitting label if just one could ever fit me well.

Probably my favorite hotel in NOLA. Stay here for anything related to two stadiums literally right next to it. Best place for basketball, football games, or concerts. Just a few short blocks to walk right into the quarter as well. Warning: you need to pay attention to how the elevators work, or you'll wind up frustrated quickly.

Bourbon milk punch. That's the ritual drink I have every time I go to NOLA. The food is good and it is right on Bourbon Street. Beware though, this place is regularly slammed and service can be slow at times.

Wagyu beef is amazing. Great appetizers and good atmosphere here. You can't go wrong here if you don't mind the price tag, because the value is there.

Great sandwiches in this Germantown gem. I had the muffaletta, and it was very tasty. As a Louisiana native, I love being able to get some boudin and gumbo to go as well. This place is just like the original in New Orleans. They need to do the Elvis King cake like they do back in NOLA though!

Probably the best brunch I've ever had. The eggs over pan seared, deconstructed boudin was amazeballs. The jazz band roaming around was a nice touch too. This place was better than Commander's Palace in my opinion, and right in the french quarter.

Great brunch and some of the best Sangria around. Get there early though, as it fills up quick since many know about this awesome spot in the gulch.

This is a new ballpark, and very clean. I recommend a trip to the Band Box, which is the bar in right field. They serve Whisky Icees and the standing tickets in that area are under 10 bucks. They've got corn hole, ping pong, and shuffleboard games out there too.
