Now that I have written the post, I really want to go on my Santee Brewery Crawl in +San Diego's #EastCounty .

#SDBeer
Put on your walking shoes and prepare to sample the best of San Diego's East County brewing community on a Santee Brewery Crawl.

He'll say creepy-ass shit like (true story): The shadows are sleeping, Daddy.
Maybe you're a new parent. Or want to be a parent someday. Or you're long past your Toddler-Wrangling Years and want to look back with nostalgia and pants-shitting terror over that time. Hell, even...

A few years ago, my weekend would of been working at the #SanDiego Science Festival for the +San Diego Air & Space Museum. Now, it most likely will be walking down Adams Avenue in +Normal Heights enjoying the new art festival/performance TRANSANNUAL.

Looking forward to watching the +U.S. Soccer Women's Team take on China at Qualcomm Stadium on Thursday. After that, it's either avocado ice cream or laundry day!

Veloswap, Pink Boot Society's #UnitePale, Makers Quarter Craft Beer + Bites and more #BikesAndBeer events this weekend in #SanDiego.
This weekend, take the bike out for a joyride, pick up some bike parts and then enjoy one of the great beer events happening throughout San Diego county.

I disagree with 6, 9 & 10. However, 13 is spot on.

+Mike Palmer For me it is the opposite. Almost all of our friends are locals. Of course they all live throughout the county.

Yes, I am a born and raised San Diegan who doesn't know how to surf.
Introduction
However, I do enjoy cycling, craft beer, running, traveling, watching James Bond with my wife and son, and social media. I am also discovering the finer arts of high end spirits (e.g. whiskey).

When I need a break, I spend time at the San Diego Tourism Authority (SDTA) office managing the content on SanDiego.org and playing "Editor in Chief" of the San Diego Travel Blog all while planning and executing SDTA's Social Media program of work.

When that becomes boring, I have fun on the side with Skypotato Productions, my website/social media/email consulting something or the other.
Bragging rights
Ran 4 half-marathons in a year, met the first and last men to step on the moon and many of those in before, in between, and after.

Mission Trails Regional Park is one of my favorite places to escape to. Even though I am still in the heart of San Diego, I feel like I am in another world surrounded by native floral and fauna. There is nothing like taking the puppy for a walk on a bright and sunny afternoon making sure to take a brake under the shade at the Mission Dam.

Located in the Wonder Break building just across the way from PETCO Park, the Mission Brewery is a great place to stop off for a local brewed beer before a Padres Game. Watch out for the delicious Shipwrecked. Two is the max with its 9.0 ABV! They do not serve food but do allow you to bring in something to chew on from the outside. They are also frequented by food trucks.

It is world-famous for a reason. You can spend an entire day exploring all that the Zoo has to offer including a monkey trail, elephant odyssey, polar bears, pandas and so much more. Make sure to take the time and check out the vegetation which is actually worth more than all the animals combined (pandas included). Dining ranges from fast food to fine dining and they try to use mostly organic ingredients which is great. If you are bringing a family, consider purchasing the membership which might be a cheaper option.

I had a great experience here when making copies for my thesis. The staff was very, very helpful and made sure that all of my copies came out just right. I will be back if I ever have another big print project.

Open 24 hours! Breakfast also served all day. Great place to stop off after a night out in North Park, University and Normal Heights.

Cheap Pizza along with a selection of Greek food including the prerequisite Gyro. Not bad but not great.
