Story
Introduction
Brent Allard has been published in many literary magazines and is former co/publisher & editor of Concrete Wolf literary journal. Currently working on poetry, fiction and a novel to come. He typically distrusts authority on anything, although he tries to be very kind about it. He's the happy father of an 18 year old son, and an unapologetic salesman. He likes to draw, loves music and has been teaching himself to play the piano for some time. He has a degree in Criminal Justice which he will likely never use for anything but entertainment. Brent admires Kurt Vonnegut Jr., Nikola Tesla, William Vollman, Kenneth Fearing, Carl Sandburg, Fyodor Dostoevsky, among others and reads a ridiculous amount of poetry. He writes "Criminal Movies" a movie blog dedicated to his endless interest in crime and the role of the anti-hero in film. His Blog "Count the Stairs" is the home for his personal and creative writing.
