Dying Light The Following DLC was awesome.

As I am going to be playing quite a few new games throughout May and June I thought it was time to finish up one of my older ones.

As some of you should know, the base game Dying Light was in my top 5 (if not number one) games of that year. It caught me by surprise.

It was an out of nowhere hit for me. I had no plans to buy the game because I tend to stay away from "Scary" games and yet somehow I ended up getting it. The gameplay, the story (though some might argue not much of it) and the characters are just awesome and I loved all my time in the game.

The Following DLC did the same for me, it was great and the same kind of fun. Many people are upset to the endings (yes there are two versions) but I didn't have much of an issue with that. If they are to do a Dying Light 2, well they could change anything about it if they wanted too. And if they never do another one, either ending works for me lol

If you haven't checked out Dying Light or the DLC I think you should. At the very least running around doing parkour with zombies is fun enough.

*Side note, I actually really liked how the driving felt in this game. Easy and smooth and reactive. All I need when driving in games.

A pretty good overview of the last season. I don't think I needed it all that much though, maybe one for the entire series so far though.

I didn't know we were having so many game releases around this time!

#Battleborn is released on May 3 2016
#DOOM is released on May 13 2016
#MirrorsEdge is released on May 28th 2016
#NoMan'sSky is released on June 1 2016

Just to name a few in a short period of time. I really don't understand the industry anymore. How is anyone supposed to enjoy massive amounts of content for millions of games per year.

I really think something needs to change lol. I love it all, but hate it at the same time. I guess I am just going to have to try to train myself to ignore some of it. Though how do I make that choice on which ones.

This is not even mentioning my currently installed list of games that need to be played. Fallout 4 DLC, Dying Light DLC, Rise of the Tomb Raider end game content, ADR1FT still needs to be finished. BAH! lol Oh and yea an ever expanding #TheDivision game that I haven't touched since hitting level 30 on the "Single Player" game.

And you'll definitely have fun doing so. If it's as good as the previous ones, you'll still be able to enjoy the "adventure" from watching the gameplay. It's one of the types of games where it makes sense :)

As of this moment I have no experience using any #VR technology.

I have seen a lot of videos about all the products, lots of people talking about it and what is coming. The only thing I have kept saying is I have no interest in VR until a few generations.

Though part of what I wanted the most is a desktop setup using VR. Now obviously I'd rather have this with VR glasses that are like sunglasses (or contacts), but this video looks amazing. It shows off pretty much what I had in mind the entire time. Though it's a recording, how does it actually look to the person wearing the VR setup.

I am interested to know if it's actually high quality. If anyone has used it and can play around with it. From my understanding, the resolutions of the VR devices aren't great.

But man, doing desktop stuff sitting back while being in space sounds amazing. Even the Rick & Morty setup looked awesome to me. This video is the first thing that makes me want to grab a VR setup like the Vive. I have seen lots of stuff that has been kind of cool, but this is the first that really makes me want one.

That being said, ultimately my thoughts are the same. I want a device that is wireless, that is the size of a contact or a pair of glasses and has a super crazy high resolution (whatever makes the human eye not notice) and I think that is a while aways.

Just caught up on a few #movies.

#Goosebumps was one of them and was fun (probably mostly because I like Jack Black), nothing too amazing of course but it's #BattlefieldEarth I wanted to talk about.

That was the second movie I watched and was the first time I ever saw it. As most of you know it's basically thought of as the worst movie ever. It was at least a financial and critical failure.

It had a lot of weird choices and over the top things, but at the same time many of those things seemed to be age. It was released in 2000. So maybe they were bad and stupid or whatever but to me it felt like it was just an old sci-fi movie.

My point is I didn't hate the movie. I was able to watch the entire thing without having to push myself. I enjoyed it for the most part. It had a good idea overall and it was fun enough. I might be crazy I guess.

I just find it interesting that I didn't find it all that bad when everyone else seems to think it's the worst.

Your thoughts?

It was a comical failure, because it was still a sci-fi flick you probably will watch once. It's been so long since I watched it, I may even watch it again.

I will have to start agreeing with people that #Windows10 is broken.

So far I haven't had any real issues with the OS. On my main system it's smooth and doing what I want. Anything I don't like tends to be things I never see anyways. I use Steam & Chrome mostly and everything is hidden.

Though a few times now Windows itself has caused me weird issues with my server. A Plex server. Yesterday I ran the latest update for Windows 10 and my server was gone.

I lost all the watch status' and related data and had to recreate it. This was the main thing that happened but a bunch of things are broken. It seems from looking in Windows Explorer that it somehow duplicated folders, or moved my original folders and created new ones.

For example even Downloads under Quick Access is a different Downloads than the one I was using (that used to be under Quick Access).

Microsoft hasn't even fixed some of the minor issues with Windows 10. That stupid ENG icon beside the clock that keeps reappearing on any change.

Come on !! Geez #windows #updates #broken

I have to say it has been mostly painless for me. Aside from nVidia Driver issues!

So who is playing the #DOOM beta this weekend?

I played about an hour last night since they turned the servers on early and it was fun, but I don't know if that will last.

Sadly I can't really see myself continue to spend hours and hours on the same maps killing people. Even with leveling systems. Now that being said I actually have a copy of the release game thanks to a good friend of mine. So I hope at least the single player side of it may have some content I could enjoy. We will only know when it's released I guess lol.

Now the weird part is when I started gaming when I was young, playing multiplayer games where you played the same maps and killed people is all I did. I spent years playing the original Counter Strike, Unreal Tournament and Quake games. I was actually quite good at them.

So somehow those aren't for me anymore. I don't know if the skill level of other players went up, my skill went down, or if it's just not my type anymore. Maybe if I had actual friends locally that also played it would work.

Still going to be fun to play on and off this weekend. Anyone else?

Ah TV!

As many know, I watch a crap load of media. Out of all that media I watch the most shows than anyone I know, and more shows than movies. I have been doing this since I first could watch TV when I was young. In all of that time, and all the many shows that I watch, I have never quit a show. Even if a show got boring, slow, bad or any combination, I would always finish it to the end.

I just have never liked to the idea of not finishing a story, even if it's a bad one or lacking of one. Though it's been hard. At the moment there are a few shows on my list that are 2 seasons or so behind and I haven't been able to get myself to finish it, but I also haven't been able to get myself to just call it quits. Currently the big problem shows for me are Mad Men and Revenge but there are others. Those two are at least 2 seasons behind for me. I want them done and off my list but it's so hard to get myself to even start watching it. Made even harder of course through all my other current shows.

Now we have another show causing issues for me that is starting to make me think quitting a show isn't an issue. I have watched every season of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Sadly the last season was very hard for me, and now I can't even get through the first episode of Season 11. It used to be funny, and crazy and fun. Though now I find it, over the top, embarrassing, korny and hard to watch. I have been thinking, I just have to finish this, they must be done soon. Sadly, they just renewed for 2 more seasons.

So it's an interesting idea for me, to stop watching a show forever. It may be something I do for the first time. #tvshows #shows #series
