This Could Only Happen in Texas: The Price of Electricity Went Negative

http://flip.it/sTOBj
In the wee hours of the morning on Sunday, the mighty state of Texas was asleep. The honky-tonks in Austin were shuttered, the air-conditioned office towers of Houston were powered down, and the wind whistled through the dogwood trees and live oaks on the gracious lawns of Preston Hollow. Out...

Irish Examiner: Butterflies have been modding themselves by 'stealing' wasp genes. http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIwzYygxyY
As if nature in the undergrowth couldn’t get more messed up, scientists have just discovered that some butterflies and moths have been “stealing” the genes of parasitic wasps to make themselves awesome.

I'm living on it now and feel great.

"Imagine using just water, sunlight, air and a single algae superorganism to generate the complex nutrients (including carbohydrates, proteins and lipids) needed to sustain life, with applications in rich and poor countries (or in space). Then consider having this substance available on tap, piped right into your home like water or power. Alternatively, you might buy your own household bioreactor, churning out Soylent 3.0 directly in your kitchen on demand. Rob Rhinehart’s vision takes various forms, but it comes down to the same thing: an alternative to conventional food and potential solution to unsustainable agricultural practices, available to all those who wish to take part."
The first generation of Soylent is a powdered food substitute for all your nutritional needs, the second will be a premixed beverage boasting the addition of algae, but the ultimate target is fully...

Drink tap water.
A water bottling company is issuing a voluntary recall due to a possible E. coli contamination and urging people to boil their bottled water first or avoid drinking it.

Undo and redo are available at the top of the screen in the Google Docs App for Android. +Nirave Gondhia +Android Authority
Flagship smartphones are often billed as computer replacements, as they have the power and performance of a premium laptop with the portability of a mobile phone. Android as a platform is capable of doing a lot – and arguably a lot more than Apple’s iOS can – but there’s one iPhone feature that absolutely every Android smartphone needs. I personally don’t like Apple’s smartphones too much – as I prefer the flexibility of Android – and I’m ...

Introduction
I enjoy working with computers.  I set up my first computer an Apple 2c when I was 4, and they have been second nature to me ever since.

"In every age 'the good old days' were a myth.  No one ever thought they were ever good at the time.  For every age has consisted of crises that seem intolerable to the people who lived through them." - Atkinson 1894

They are the biggest downside of living in Middletown. Three months in, and they've already messed up two bills. The woman in charge had the nerve to say they don't work with Western Union when it's on there website.
