Longtime University of Tennessee women's basketball head coach Patt Summitt stepping aside

Wed Apr 18: Inside Tennessee reports that, for the first time since 1974, the University of Tennessee will open a basketball season with a new head coach on the bench for the Lady Vols.

Pat Summitt led Tennessee to eight national titles and compiled an overall record of 1,098-208.

“I am not going anywhere,” Summitt said to Inside Tennessee. “They are going to have to put up with me anyway.”

It was only a matter of time with that illness she has...will always be one if not the best womens college coaches of all time
She is like the female JoPa of women's basketball 
She will be missed and should be honored for her contributions.
I've heard comparisons to John Wooden of UCLA. She needs to take care of herself now after taking care of 1000's of young women.
She needs a vacation and a smile.
