It's somewhat alarming to see how many organizations have to walk away from their existing Google Analytics Account because their previous digital agency created it under their own (only  granting Admin-level access at the Property level). This can cause some pretty big problems whenever the organization decides to move on from that agency, as they're forced to walk away from countless months (or even years) of historical data. Even if they're allowed ongoing access to the data after their relationship, this still creates some logistical nightmares when it comes to lining up historical and new data.

So whether you're forced to start new or are just getting started with Google Analytics, check out my guide on how to plan for your Account with scalability in mind!
