Any good reason G+ won't display anyone I've added when I "@" them from the iPhone app? Suggests contacts that aren't yet on G+, but no one from my existing circles...

+Kyle Gach Yeah, I tried that as well. I guess that's what we get for being early adopters. :)

Great stuff from the Breaking Development mobile conference in Nashville.

Lots of awesome information about the mobile web coming out of Breaking Development here in Nashville. A few of my favorites so far:

Pragmatic Responsive Design:
a UBER detailed overview of applying responsive Web design & what it takes to get it right. My very detailed notes:
http://www.lukew.com/ff/entry.asp?1394

There is No Mobile Web
Jeremy Keith outlined why Web designers and developers need to embrace the flexibility inherent in the Web especially in today’s multi-device world.
http://www.lukew.com/ff/entry.asp?1393

Mobile App Muse Die!
Scott Jenson's call to action to go beyond isolated apps on mobile.
Audio & slides:

Buttons are a Hack!
Josh Clark talks about how to move touch gestures front and center in interactions and move away from abstract controls

+Craig Johnston Completely agree. This approach is still nascent, so it will be a while before it's widely adopted. In addition to that, depending on the project, it doesn't always make sense to pursue. That said, there seems to be a big push (a la the standards movement in the early 2000s) for it as of late.

Everything about the first iteration of the G+ iPhone app just feels awkward.

The more bad things I hear about the iPhone app, the more I think I need a Droid.
