Google+ implemented +Tzafrir Rehan's idea for nuking comments and blocking users in one pass. That was quick.

More tools to encourage more quality conversations

We work hard to make Google+ a great place for quality conversations -- whether you're sharing with a circle of friends, or the entire world. Just like in life, however, you occasionally come across annoying behavior online, and we want to make it easy to both report it on Google+, and avoid it in the future.

With this in mind we recently improved our comment moderation system (http://goo.gl/RVrnQ). And starting today, when you delete or report a comment on your post, you'll then have the option to immediately block that person.

Blocking someone is a big deal (read more at http://goo.gl/WCsCC), so definitely think before you click. We just want to make sure you have the tools you need to build a community that makes you feel at home.

As always, please don't hesitate to give feedback in the comments, or via the "Send Feedback" button! We’re rolling out this feature gradually so check back soon if you don’t see it.
