I'm pushing myself to listen to more music this year; get outside my comfort zone. I'm asking for suggestions of any and all kinds. In my first week I didn't get any ( :[ ) so I sought out new artists on my own. Two Houses and Strange Passage were pleasant discoveries for me and both were on Bandcamp. If you have any bands, songs, albums, etc you're currently digging on, please share with me so I can dig on them too!

Love Wilco but need new tunes for 2017. Got anything on repeat you'd like to share?
Looking back on 2016 I realized I didn’t listen to much music. And my near compulsion to scour the internet for new artists waned to the point ‘meh, I’ll check ’em out‘ didn’t even cross my mind. I can’t pinpoint any specific reason for the tuneless lull but I think not booking concerts and festivals like I had in years past played a part. That’s just a theory and instead of prolonging the lull by theorizing I decided to ask you to recommend music for me to listen to. What's good? What new that don't people know about? What means a lot to you? TELL ME!

I just listened to Sabotage for the first time since elementary school and can't believe what I've been missing out on for the past 20 years. Any suggestions on 'must listen to' albums are welcome and appreciated! 2017 resolution - listen.to.more.music.

Did Car Seat Headrest's Teens of Denial make it on your 2016 best-of list? Have you listened to it?

Anyone listen to Goshen, Indiana's modern day retro rockers (that doesn't make sense) Strand Of Oaks? HEAL came out in 2014 and I was obsessed with it after one listen. So much so I drove from Woodstock, IL to Madison, WI for a show at High Noon Saloon and to meet Timothy Showalter, the creative force behind SOO. The whole band signed my record. The record I bought before I had a record player!

Let me know your thoughts on HEAL if you listen to it and please recommend new albums for me to check out. Glad I found this Community!

I like Marketplace and was really happy to hear the Bandcamp CEO being interviewed when I got in my car a few weeks back. Diamond gives his two cents about the future of streaming/music consumption (among other topics).

Any Chicagoans (or traveling Wilcberries) going to the Wilco Winterlude?
