Merry Christmas friends! Last night I turned some Coke bottles into salt and pepper shakers for my brother and sister-in-law. Filmed the whole thing and turned it into a DIY. Check it out!

What does everyone think of the "new" Google+? Personally I'm a big fan.

It definitely simplified a lot of things. It's not without its quirks - there are still some loading errors. But overall it has a nice, user friendly flow.

One of my big goals of 2016 is to get better at video. Decided to take a weekend trip down to Las Vegas and get some footage! Tell me what you think! Should I do more?

Google Intentionally Removes Local Search Filter

Man this is so lame. Google has removed the local search filter! Supposedly it was due to "lack of use" but for some reason I don't buy that. I think this has something to do with their push on local search.
Google seems to have dropped yet another search tool/filter, this one is for location settings.

Google+ is alive and well. I mean...you ARE reading this, right?
According to a recent internet user survey conducted in November 2015, the number of people using Google+ is surprisingly higher than many might expect. How many exactly?

The line was long but worth the wait. Probably waited for about 20-30 minutes until we ordered. It is located in Madison Square park which makes for a pleasant atmosphere while enjoying your meal. It's a park where the shade protects you from the sun and it's a nice break from the big city while still being in it. The patties are a little greasy resting on a soft roll-like bun that makes for a great taste. While the shake was good, it didn't blow me away like I thought it would. It also wasn't as "concrete" as it sounds. The shake was still really runny when I got it. You'll have better luck going to Dairy Queen to get a solid thick shake. Regardless, the fries, burgers and shakes all tasted great and made for a delicious meal and a great experience. This place is a must go if you are in NYC. They also have a "B-Line" with is a short line for people who just want a drink or shake/custard.

This was my first stab an "New York Pizza" and it didn't disappoint. Being just steps away from the heart of Times Square, I expected outrageous pricing and the pizza ended up being reasonably priced considering its location. The service was rushed and fast paced and the pizza was good. Did it blow my mind? No. Was it bad? No. Would I go back? Probably not, as I've had better pizza elsewhere.

The Monte Carlo has THE BEST Spa Suite for the money. If you are a couple looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway, drop the extra money and upgrade to a spa suite. The spa is built to comfortably seat two people and stretch out. The view they have of the new City Center is amazing. Grab a couple drinks and live the Vegas experience right from your hotel room.

My first stab at Serendipity 3 was in Las Vegas and I got a frozen hot chocolate that didn't disappoint. The NYC location, while still on the pricey end of the scale, was a few bucks cheaper than the Las Vegas menu which is a plus. The food was fantastic and came in a fulfilling size. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere is in a small cafe-like space which was really cozy. I would certainly recommend going at least once if you have never been.

Most of your money goes to upkeep their fancy lobby. Aside from that I don't think it is worth the price. Granted it is just minutes away from the center of Times Square and Rockefeller Plaza, so it is a great location. The walls are super thin so you can hear every car horn and siren that comes by so don't plan on sleeping in. They also make you go down to the lobby to get free wifi and charge $15 a day for in-room wifi whereas other nearby hotels offer free in-room wifi. Being there for business, I really would've liked to enjoy getting work done from the comfort of my room rather than going down to the lobby. That said, it was a decent hotel for the location.

South Point really is a hidden gem in Las Vegas. When you leave the hotels off the strip you generally get a depressing and quiet feel, but not at South Point. The rooms in the hotel are just as nice (and in many cases nicer) than those found on the strip. The main floor/casino is always a fun atmosphere which really gives you that Vegas experience. The rooms are spectacular and for half the price you pay on the strip. My only suggestion is they offer some spa suites for couples. Currently the only suites with spas have multiple rooms which I don't care to pay for. Highly recommend this place to everyone!
