Great article posted from +David Kutcher on #PersonalBranding
Personal Branding. The subject inspires volumes of value, but also (perhaps more so?) droves of hucksters.

This article asks some very respectable folks about their experiences with personal branding, and there is value in listening to them.

50 Social Media Marketing Tips That Will Help You Build Traffic
Ideas for every platform

This giant list of ideas from +CoSchedule will give you months worth of things to test out and try. You may not even need another "[x] ways to [social media adjective]" ever again after reading this.

Best thing to do with this is pick out 3 of these things that you're going to do this week and put them on a calendar. Then do them. Then come back next week and pick three more.

The problem with posts like these is that they can almost be overwhelming because they give you too many ideas. Don't fall victim to paralysis by analysis-- take action today on a few things.

What item on the list are you going to do first?

What do you use to be productive?
We all see everyday so many companies out there that tell you if you use their products, you will for sure be more productive and have more time doing other things that matter. I'm here to tell you that just because a company says "they are the best" doesn't mean it's the right fit for you.

I've spent this past year going back forth from multiple platforms just to see how they compare to ones I've been using for task management, project management and other things I do on a day to day basis. I've always come back to these "Top 2" platforms that have always had my heart, but also there is a "NEW" platform I've been using just for simple tasks that I've really enjoyed.

Here are my TOP 3 Platforms I use that help me stay productive/creative

+Evernote - Evernote is by far the best one out there for everything from blogging your ideas down, formatting your posts for blogs etc. You also are able to have LOTS of "notebooks" to keep yourself organized as you add add add more to your week. Love it! Only thing I haven't liked since using Evernote for a few years, is that I can't do repeat reminders or change "one checkbox" in a notebook to remind me I need to still complete it. Once they fix that, if they fix that, then I won't go anywhere else for the most part! Again, Evernote I think is for everybody.

+Trello - I use Trello now on a project by project basis. It's an amazing platform, but lacks in some areas that Evernote doesn't. I love the fact with Trello I can have columns for different ideas, project status's etc. You just drag and drop your "cards" around and it's there. Really cool. If you need something for just "project management" and you are sharing with LOTS of people for event planning etc, Trello is your best new friend. I promise.

+Google Keep - I just was asked by a friend that I should try Google keep for my tasks lists, because it's great in syncing with my Google Drive and other client things I have there. He was right. It's a fantastic "task list" manager for EVERYONE, however it lacks a lot. One major thing I don't like that +Evernote and +Trello do, is that in Google keep on the notes you create, you can not just have a few line of text and then checkboxes. You can only have text or checklist boxes. I do like again that you can remind yourself and it intergrates amazing with gmail reminders etc. So if you need a simple yet effective task list or heck even grocery list, this one will do the job.

So What Do You Use?
