Feedback and Ideas  -

Perhaps it's already a feature and I'm missing something, but might it be a good idea to be able to bulk edit entries for certain things?
e.g. Deletion, Publish/Unpublish, Change Author, etc?

Cool, thanks. This solves one of the issues that I'm struggling with anyway. Hope to see bulk editing make its way into the CMS soon though!

Hey all,
I've been playing around with Craft for a while on my personal time, but I've had a bit of trouble convincing my agency to try it out.

We've had a few projects where I think it would have been perfect, but my bosses are worried that Craft is a bit too new, and that they might have trouble finding another developer who knows it as well as EE/WordPress/etc, if they ever had to outsource or find another developer to pass a site off to. Basically, they're worried about creating dependencies by using a platform that isn't really well known yet.

Has anyone else run into issues like this? How did you deal with it?

Thanks for all of the helpful replies. Unfortunately, I don't have the freedom to just take Craft and run with it, as much as I'd like to. But all of your replies will be helpful in making my case to try it out!

I feel a bit silly for asking this, but I just can't seem to figure out tags. I'm trying to build a blog (URL structure is /blog/{slug}), and I have a tags field associated with each post called 'Categories'. I've managed to get the tag names printing for each entry, but I'm not quite sure how the URLs work. So, I have two questions here:

1. What determines the URL for a tag (e.g. a page where all entries associated with a tag are shown)? Is this something that's built in to tags by default, or is it a routing thing?

2. How would I print the tag url in a template?

▸ General repartee  -

Hi all! I'm rather new to content strategy, trying to learn as much as I can. I'm wondering if anyone can share any resources or articles on how best to determine what kind of content is best for an organization? Gap analyses, analytics reviews, other processes?

Is there any way to either control the dimensions of an image inserted into a rich text field, or make a rich text field use a particular transformation of uploaded images?

Hey Brandon,

Currently, no. Down the road we will be making it possible to select a transform, though.

I'm really giving G+ a shot lately. There are some great communities on here, but a lot of potential for information overload.

Hi there,
I'm looking into using the Guest Entries (https://github.com/pixelandtonic/GuestEntries) plugin to allow non-authenticated users to submit content to a website.

My question is whether it's possible to use more complicated field types than are used in the example (or in the example for Entry Form). For instance, is it possible to allow entry of a Matrix or a Table field? Assuming I can re-create the functionality for adding rows with javascript, how might this work?

Thanks in advance for any help!
