We feel unsupported, unloved, and under-served when it comes to sticking with our path and pushing forward towards what we believe is our deserved outcome. Whether it is the career path we want, a loving relationship, status, or simply the type of people we attract into our lives, each aspect is ...

Unfortunately there wasn't more diversity in the video amongst professionals and offerings. However, I think the overall message was a kind one: Running your own company is hard work and all of us are THANKFUL that YOU (small business owners) exist and are pursuing your passion. The world needs you and your mind making it a better place. <3

80% of the staff are helpful and willing to entertain my super creative ways of asking for things. ADD and OCD at their finest. My partner and I spent an average of 10 hours a month here for the first year in the area doing home improvement. Got some great tips and information from various employees. There are staff members who clearly don't like their job -- justified or not -- and, unfortunately, they have trouble masking their loathing of customers and/or having to put in more effort than they would like to. So, yeah, it is a mixed bag when it comes to who you will run into. I think that is a reflection on HD's HR department and hourly rates more than anything. I really feel for those who just need a job and don't actually like what they do. However, if you are there, why not make the most of it? Smile, engage with people, and do your best, as your job is basically stocking, cashiering, and customer service. I know I hated it from previous employment and did my best to actually enjoy it while I had bills to pay. The whole notion of "sweet is better than sour" applies here. Overall, I rarely engage with angry/unhappy staff and, if/when I do, I just work with them to lighten the mood. I'd rather leave them happier than I found them. :) Besides general personality, the store usually has most of our home improvement needs for a 20 year old home. I've never had them make a bad key -- have had over 30 copies made in the last year for various places, clients, friends, contractors. Just had them make me another set of 12 this evening. The Bellevue shop somehow misunderstood my order, so I came to Redmond for the fix and they were happy to help.

The food was delicious. The mussels were creative in flavor and balance. The sirloin and filet mignon were honored for their natural flavors and textures. There were no frills or superfluous seasoning tricks to hide meat quality, which I greatly respect. Service was kind and responsive. The view was lovely. Our only real gripe was the flies that swarmed us relentlessly once our food arrived. We're talking 20+ flies; a micro army, if you will. Batting flies about while trying to eat a very nice meal was rather off putting. Overall, we would definitely come back for the food, but perhaps eat on the patio or take it to go to avoid the herd of savage flying beasts.

I'm surprised by how easy it has become to rate a place poorly these days. I don't have outlandish requests or expectations of ass kissing when I walk into a place. What do I expect? * Knowledgeable service (please know what you are talking about!) * Maybe a greeting or even a smile (honestly, I only want someone to pay attention to me if I have a question -- see above -- or if I am ready to check out) * Short lines (I come at off times on purpose) * Clean isles where I can get to things I need relatively easily (I'm short with no game for air time!) * Stuff I need (It's a pharmacy and a store for medical things, as well as random fluff, but first and foremost, it's a pharmacy and that is what I am stopping in for) * Hours that fit my schedule (24 hour places are my absolute loves!) * Wait time (Please keep it under 5 minutes on a call and under an hour in the store for a prescription) Ok, so does this place meet all of my criteria for a good experience? YES! Have they ever left me waiting a little longer than I like during BUSY hours? Yes. Do I usually bother them during busy hours? I try not to! Remember, that sometimes you create your experience. If you are calling between 7 AM - 10 AM or 3 PM - 7 PM -- peak busy times -- and you don't like busy people who can't get to you at breakneck speed, maybe you should give those people the benefit of the doubt and NOT call during their PEAK hours. I'm sure they are much nicer when they aren't under the gun of 50 other people at any given interval. In fact, I am sure of it! :) As far as 24-Hour pharmacies go, I am thankful this place exists.
