Hello all, glad to have found a place on G+ to ask about LOTR LCG. I just wanted to know how the game plays solo? Sometimes my family our friends just aren't in the mood to play a longer or themed game. I'd love some feedback before I go buy it. Thanks!

+Brady Johnson Welcome to the community! I hope it's a useful place for you. I think that solo play and group play offer very different experiences, and you have to build your decks with that in mind. Some Heroes and Characters seem near useless until you use them in group play, so don't discount any cards in any set until you've seen them in both styles.
I use the solo play option for the same reasons you do - lack of anyone to play the game with except on game nights. It offers a very challenging option, and one that is enjoyable. I like to test my lone skills against Quests so this is perfect for chilling out and having some time to myself. It is more difficult in solo mode (Escape from Dol Guldor is nigh impossible), but if all the Quests were easy then I'd become bored with the game. 'Intruders in Chetwood is another that causes me headaches in solo mode (it's from The Lost Realm Deluxe Expansion).
I've not played it with more than two players, so the challenge is definitely still there. I also find the co-op nature of the game to be more mentally satisfying than adversarial.
Hope this helps you out.

For over two decades now, educators have been promising that the education system will soon be changing. Despite these prediction things haven't changed a whole lot over the last 20 years. With that said, it does finally seem like the methods of education are on the cusp of some of the biggest changes we have seen in decades. Virtual reality, 3D printing and mobile computing is transforming education from the inside out. In my opinion, virtual...

Introduction
Married to my beautiful wife (way out of my league) but snatched her up before anyone else could.

Have two amazing children who keep me on my toes and constantly surprise me with their love, humor, and insight.

I've working in Education for the last six years helping students with disabilities. I love tech and how it can be used in education to improve learning for all students.
