Story
Introduction
Currently working on a #passionproject at HoundHackers . Others will confirm for you that I'm significantly #dog obsessed, and my four legged furry companion, Jackson, is both inspiration and muse for this project. A West Highland Terrier x Maltese, he's soft natured, but, with a big personality!

When not being a Dog Wellness Coach at HoundHackers, I'm still working hard (and loving) being in digital product development and online marketing in the corporate world.

Google is testing a new telemedicine service that connect users to a physician for free via video conferencing when they are searching for symptoms or illnesses online. The service is part of the broader Helpouts initiative that was launched earlier where users can ask professionals for advice on a video call like a Hangouts chat. Telemedicine advice, at this time in Google's trial...

The studies going into our microbiome-brain connection are fascinating. #depression   #health   #microbiome   #mentalhealth
Idea that intestinal bacteria affect mental health gains ground.

Opportunity Cost of Gangnam Style

What humanity could achieve if it weren’t galloping in front of computer screens? In the 16,000 years of time spent watching G Style, we could have built 20 Empire State buildings, four Great Pyramids of Giza and... see below.

The flaw in this analysis of course is that it assumes if we did not watch G Style that we would have done something productive. Big flaw!

But fun to think about how much time this represents. And because 2 billion views is not enough, here's Gangnam Style one more time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bZkp7q19f0

"Follow your passion". An interesting perspective on whether this is solid advice for all.

This was a pretty interesting article.

At first, I disagreed...

then I agreed....

then I laughed...

and then I came to a conclusion.

What do you think about Mike Rowe's comments?
If nothing else, should make for some great blog ideas! :)
Mike Rowe of “Dirty Jobs” has made a habit of going viral on the Internet by responding to fan questions, like the time a fan told him to prove he[...]

The issue of Internet privacy is a challenging one. No one wants their every click & page view tracked, catalogued and shared across countless databases of the thousands of advertising partners working to serve the most targeted marketing efforts that have ever existed. Great fresh pork rolls. Rice paper rolls are recommended too.

Great service. Breakfast menu is adventurous but there are staples too. Filter coffee is outstanding. Can be busy and often a wait. They take names and work through the line as quickly as possible.

Not a great selection of fresh items. Random assortment of household items towards back of store. They're actually surprisingly helpful - I bought a clothes airer there one weekend. Saved me a trip somewhere further away.
