Polite dissent can break through groupthink, giving other permission to express their opinions honestly too. The video shares a surprising research finding about how easily people can be persuaded to go along with a crowd giving an obviously bad answer to a question.

It was a great talk. Very funny and genuine. It was cute to see his sons hop up after his talk to take his picture of him sitting next to Ann.

It was believed that making CEO pay public would force it down. Instead, the public numbers enabled more one-up competition and skyrocketing salaries and bonuses. Just read that in a book about the collapse of Lehman Bros. #UnintendedConsequences

It's very interesting to get a glimpse of how you look from the outside. This was a pretty informal conversation about a Catholic reporter attending a Mormon church service prior to the 2012 election.
What happens when a Catholic journalist walks into a Mormon church service just a few weeks before a presidential election involving a highly-visible Latter Day Saints' candidate? Jeremy Lott, author and editor of RealClearReligion.org (among other sites), joins us in-person at the Match Coffee ...

Teaching a lesson on the Prodigal Son today. It is easier for me to #forgive people for the past than it is to forgive people in the present. I'm working on both with God's help.

I still really love the way you put that: easier to forgive people for the past than to forgive people in the present.  Very thought-provoking.

I don't like the typography of the motto on this sign, but I'm not sure if it is the all-caps or the font itself or the spacing that I don't like.

On the other hand, I love the university. :)
