Army Vereran. BA History (Middle East) / Jewish Studies. Pursuing MA in History.
Introduction
I'm a US Army Vet and a full-time student at the City College of New York, which is part of the City University of New York system of schools.  I'm pursuing a simultaneous BA and MA in History with a focus on Middle Eastern history and a double major in Jewish Studies.

I've done quite a bit of traveling!  I've lived in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and in quite a few states/cities on the East Coast and Southeastern United States.
Bragging rights
I survived 8 years in the Army, have a hot wife, have traveled the world and live in NYC.

What's sad is now that I'm a cynical adult, I don't really want to be anything. Retired on a beach somewhere getting drunk. That's what I want to be. I have a bio degree. I'm getting older, but there are still a few directions I could take it to take me to that "next level," and I'm just like "meh."

Great Indian food, for the neighborhood. My wife and I sort of stumbled onto this place when walking up to Fort Tryon one day. It's comparable to the stuff downtown around 4th street in the village. Feels a little pricey sometimes, but not any more than other Indian restaurants really. It's a great place to order from on Grubhub and really hits the spot.

My wife and I went in at about 6 PM today (Thursday) and I found the staff to still be very energetic, very friendly and very helpful. The place has an at-home atmosphere without compromising the feeling of professional and quality service. Dr. Eric Dougherty did an excellent job in taking care of our cat. He was very friendly, engaging, and inspired confidence. On top of all the great care my cat received, the bill was incredibly reasonable. This was our first vet visit in NYC and I think we stumbled onto the best place possible. We'll definitely be going back for further veterinary needs.

Outstanding place to visit. You can see everything in an afternoon. It's almost worth the trip just to sit in the gardens.

Closed. Delta has no more physical ticket offices in the United States. The last time (and only time) I went to this ticket office I had a good experience though. It was better than going all the way out to JFK, LGA or Newark.

This is the station that has the brass statues scattered all around inside it. The installation is called "Life Underground", by Tom Otterness. They're neat enough looking to make me want to go over there with a camera and take good photos of them all.
