G+ General Help  -

My Google+ account is managed through my custom domain / Google Apps.

I would like to phase out usage of this particular custom domain, however my Google+ account, and Google+ custom URL, are currently tied to the custom domain.

How can I phase out usage of my custom domain, but also maintain my Google+ account?

Is there a way to change my email address for this Google+ account?

I am hoping to retain my Google+ custom URL as well.

Thank you.

Thanks for your reply, +Robert Wallis!
By chance do you have any idea if this might be an option in the future? I'm interested in learning more about this situation, and if there might be a third option. I'm not sure if I'm better off maintaining this Google for Work account, for the sole purpose of using G+, or better off having a G+ account associated with an email address that I actually use. I wish Google was more flexible. Thanks again!!

I wrote a brief summary of the “Cannabis Cultivation Choices Committee.”

At the June 23 meeting of the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors, representatives John Leopold and Zach Friend proposed the formation of a “Cannabis Cultivation Choices Committee.” If formed, the 13 member committee, limited to a term of six months, will work to create a policy framework for the Board to adopt for regulating medical cannabis cultivation in Santa Cruz County.
The Supervisors want a committee of community members to develop recommendations that “protect our neighborhoods, protect our environment, and ensure that there is an adequate supply of medical cannabis for those who have a doctor’s recommendation.”

In an interview by Matthew Swinnerton of Event Santa Cruz, I discuss my inspiration for Copper Pan Jams, owning a business, challenges I face, the influence of Santa Cruz, and what's next for Copper Pan Jams.

My inspirations to start a company making jam from local organic fruits come from a range of people, organizations, ideals, events, and job experiences. On a trip to France in 1998, I remember breakfast always included fresh butter croissants accompanied with delicious strawberry jam.

New Cannabis Prohibitions in Santa Cruz County
http://bradleyallen.net/2015/03/cannabis-prohibition-santa-cruz-county/

Nearly everyone who spoke before the Supervisors said they were against environmental degradation. Valerie Corral of The Wo/Men's Alliance for Medical Marijuana (WAMM), a world-famous collective of patients and caregivers who helped to establish California’s Compassionate Use Act of 1996 (Proposition 215), stated that Santa Cruz County should lead the way with organic methods for sustainable cannabis production, as opposed to Monsanto and Phillip Morris brand cannabis.
On March 24, the Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors voted to ban the cultivation of cannabis in all areas of the county, with limited exceptions.

PHOTOS: Unpermitted Blue Boxes Appear Overnight on Pacific Avenue
http://bradleyallen.net/2015/08/unpermitted-boxes-pacific-avenue/

On August 24, 2015, things were just a little bit different as the day began on Pacific Avenue in downtown Santa Cruz. Most people, including locals, didn’t notice that the number of “blue boxes” painted onto the sidewalk had grown dramatically overnight. The “blue boxes”, which are actually rectangles, are supposed to represent designated areas of the sidewalk where artisans and people living on the streets will not be harassed and ticketed for displaying their artwork, artistic performance, or panhandling.

I covered a Sin Barras demonstration yesterday demanding an end to the torture of solitary confinement.
It was good to knock the dust off my camera and my blog!

Over 14,000 people in CA prisons, and 80,000 in the US, are kept alone in steel and concrete cells the size of a parking space.

[Video and Photos] Paula Gregoire: Save Paula’s Cottage
http://bradleyallen.net/2014/09/paula-gregoire-save-paulas-cottage/

On September 9, 2014, Paula Gregoire, her mother also named Paula, and her daughter Isabella, spoke before the Santa Cruz City Council against the city’s inhumane rental inspection program. The cruel and invasive ordinance was pushed through in August 2010 in a 5-1 vote by the gentrifying forces of the Santa Cruz City Council with pressure and backing from UC Santa Cruz.

The circumstances faced by Paula and Isabella — homelessness and couch surfing — resonate with thousands of people struggling to pay rent and survive in Santa Cruz, as well as people who have already been priced out of town.
