Lol! I'd love a card with Tromple! +Mark Rosewater can we make that a thing? This AI is onto something.

I don't know how many of you know about magic the gathering, but this is an interesting application of AI.
The are over 13,000 Magic: The Gathering cards, each of which fits uniquely into an incredibly rich, decades-old world of lore, rules, tokens, and tournaments. It takes years to master the game, and even then a new set of cards comes every few months to shake things up. That's why it's wonderful to see what kinds of innovation and oddity a days old artificial intelligence can come up with. I'm sorry..What does morph do again? MTGSalvation user Ta...

Tromple sounds like fresh out of a Dolan comic… (but I couldn't think of a clever one)

or a clever take on Dolan Tromp?

This COULD be GREAT or epic fail. So far I've been happy with +Marvel Entertainment movies though so I'm optimistic.

I wonder how long it took someone to bend a paper clip like this and call it good?
Airbnb's new brand resembles the logos of several other companies. Looks like someone forgot to do a Google Image Search.

I'm running +13th Age campaign in my game shop. I JUST got The Eye Of The Stone Thief and I'm really excited to use it. Anyone have some advice on running this? Is there plot in the book or is it all just dungeon crawling? I haven't gotten to tear into it yet... #13thage

Oh, yeah, building off of +Austin Hoffman's comment, cut rooms on the fly if the players are having trouble and/or getting bored. I was going to do Maw-Gauntlet-Gizzard for a 4th level party, but they nearly got wiped early on in the Gauntlet so I cut half of it after the Giant's Causeway. But that's ok! I can always drop those rooms back into the Gauntlet when they go through it again at 5th level.

Other tips: since I've been doing Organized Play stuff, I have been doing a lot more letting players come up with stuff to put in. If you see people start getting bored, instead of the next room ask players what things from their past has the Stone Thief eaten. Possibly use the tables from the Hall of Ruin (in the Gizzard) to suggest stuff. Probably the most fun the players had in the last session was dealing with a soul-stealing sword from the cleric's sordid past, which I added in after the players were getting a little sad after not doing so well in the previous puzzle room.

Great stuff here for #teachers !
If I had written this article two years ago, it would have been very different. Back then, I would have made (or felt like I had to make) a compelling case for why we should even consider the idea of incorporating video games into classroom instruction. Back then, I would have expected most reade

Wow... I just realized how much I have neglected my Google + account. I use to spend hours a day here. How has everyone been? Is the rumor that Google + is dead true now? or have I just been missing out?

I'm not sure how I feel about this app... Who uses it? Do I really want to see the anonymous inner thoughts of my friends? Sometimes I think I see enough here!
Secret, the popular anonymous-sharing app, raised $25 million. Here's how it went from poorly designed messaging app to red-hot startup.
