Easiest car-buying experience I've ever had, and the price on the car I wanted was thousands less than comparable cars at other dealerships. Highly recommended! (Ask for Derek!)

They've lost my business twice now by not having anyone manning their drive-thru. On the last occasion, I gave up waiting, parked and walked up to the Take-Out entrance. The door was locked. Not going back.

I recently took what was at least my third bay tour with the Blue and Gold Fleet (but my first in decades); it was my wife's first. The boats are what they are -- comfortable enough for an hour tour -- but the views are the star, and there is nothing like getting out on the Bay, sailing up to and under the Golden Gate Bridge, and seeing San Francisco's beauty from the water. These tours are a reasonably-priced way to do it. If you go to San Francisco and stay on the land the whole time, you are really missing out. Recommended.

Although Joanie's was recommended by our hotel concierge and nicely reviewed online, my wife and I still expected, based on its name, some kitschy, TV-show themed, overpriced place to which we'd never want to go again. To our surprise, we found a completely un-themed, cozy storefront restaurant with friendly service, reasonable prices, and extremely generous portions of very tasty food. My sausage omelette had a great balance of sliced link sausage, cheese and eggs, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. My wife tried the Pacifica Scramble, with eggs, shrimp, spinach, and mushroom (she left off the onions); she cleaned her plate. Very nice place we highly recommend.

As longtime fans of Disney (both the company and the man Walt), time at the Walt Disney Family Museum was a must for me and my wife on a recent trip to San Francisco. We had heard wonderful things about it, but nothing that prepared us for what we found inside. The same-as-every-other-building-in-the-Presidio facade doesn't hint at the variety of dazzling displays and memorabilia stored within. The multiple rooms of exhibits, arranged chronologically from before Walt's birth, through his early years, first cartooning and filmmaking, move to California and the rise of Mickey Mouse, then through all of the decades of innovation, feature-length films, and eventually theme parks, are all extremely well-executed, with a variety of looks that keep the visitor engaged. There is SO MUCH to see here, I could easily spend a week going through the displays and still not have soaked in every detail. A lot of the exhibits are interactive; there is quite a bit of video associated with each display, and best of all, since Walt was such a public figure and did so many interviews and TV shows, most of the exhibits are narrated by Walt himself. And I still tear up thinking about the last room, which contained Walt's daughter's memories of his final days, and a wall full of editorial cartoons and telegrams to Lilian Disney expressing sorrow over his passing. For even a passing Disney fan, put this place at the top of your list of things to see at least once in your life. (Tip: the museum apparently shows Disney movies in its cozy downstairs theater, one film a week, showing daily at 1:00 p.m. Admission to the movie is included with admission to the museum, but you have to ask for a separate ticket. We showed up at 2:00, but were able to catch the last half of Mary Poppins -- a real unexpected treat to see it on a big screen!)

My wife and I ate here for our final dinner on a recent San Francisco trip, and loved every bit of it. The pizzas are thin-crust, one size, about 11 or 12", and are hand-prepared and cooked in a wood-fired oven. My wife and I each ordered custom pizzas; both were perfectly cooked and delicious. We also shared a tasty (and generously portioned) Caesar salad. The service was prompt and extremely friendly, and the outdoor setting was surprisingly relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

The service wasn't overly fast, but my burger and fries were surprisingly good -- and not just for an airport location, for anywhere. Recommended.
