'Old Acquaintance'

"When you enter a grove peopled with ancient trees, higher than the ordinary, and shutting out the sky with their thickly inter-twined branches, do not the stately shadows of the wood, the stillness of the place, and the awful gloom of this doomed cavern then strike you with the presence of a deity?" – Seneca

This image was taken in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, home to the oldest trees in the world, the Bristlecone Pines. Some of these living trees exceed 4000 years of age and exhibit spectacular growth forms of twisted and beautifully colored wood.

"Finding Forever"
The endless sea of colors, patterns, and textures made this one of the most spectacular overlooks I've ever witnessed.

Where is your favorite overlook?

We've received a lot of questions from our followers who want to know more about our experience using Kessler Crane's TLS & Second Shooter. While filming in New Mexico a few weeks ago, we shot a little BTS clip when winds were consistently blowing 25mph with 30-40mph gusts.

How do you think the system held up? You be the judge!

"Vicissitude"
The skies were filled with dark and ominous clouds during this particular day in Northern New Mexico. Mother Nature brought strong winds, rain, and snow during most of the afternoon. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the winds subsided and openings to the stars began to form over a sea of hoodoos.
