Just looked at my invoice... the prices were super reasonable! Not to mention that they were prompt and courteous and took the time to answer my stupid questions. On top of that, there was no nickel-and-diming for replacing little things like my license plate light. Altogether I'm very satisfied with my trip to Express Tire.
The museum is a very charming old schoolhouse, though perhaps a tad small. The exhibits over the past few years have been fantastic — the Historical Society puts a lot of thought and effort into them. And the guidance you receive upon entering is enthusiastic and informative.

The #1 sandwich, a seemingly plain-jane buffalo chicken, really hits the taste buds from many fronts. Instead of messing with the basic flavors; prerequisites like a sourdough bun and red hot sauce -- they use the accoutrements to compliment the base flavors.
It's a coffee shop, but the staff seem to have had fun with the bulletin board, among other things.
Altogether, a very pleasant experience, even when ordering off-menu.
I haven't been disappointed in a meal there yet!
The flavors are balanced in intriguing ways, while keeping a classic character. For simple, delicious, inexpensive food, Avenus Diner is the best choice in the area.
