The feature I have up at PCWorld today riled some commenters—who apparently didn't read the entire article, or who at least glossed over the parts where I talk about the benefits of consoles and the power/size/cost requirements of a gaming PC. Le sigh, fanboys.

Wow, a sane, non-inflammatory look at PS4 specs vs PCs. You'd probably be fired if you were writing for a dedicated gaming site.

You, sir, are obviously not one of the commenters on the article ;-)

Oh no, comments on G+ last week during the PS4 event were enough to keep me from scrolling that far down.

Good article as usual +Brad Chacos . I have to laugh at the comments though, they definitely didn't actually read the article and if they did, they completely ignored what you said.

Hey, thanks +Darren Neufeldt. I think part of the "problem" is that the article has been turning up as the top news picks for both Bing and Google when you search for "PlayStation 4 News," bringing a large number of irregular, irrational fanboys into the mix. Alas.

And +Joe Farrell, I know comments are a cesspool, but I always try to keep an eye on 'em. If someone takes the time to read an article of mine and leave an intelligent comment/question, I always try to respond if I can.

And this is why you are one of my favorite tech writers +Brad Chacos .

The comments can be good for a laugh when misinformed or blatant trolls spout utter BS about something and then get slammed. Good article, I'll skip the comments :)

+Darren Neufeldt I totally understand and usually do read comments but there are certain subjects where I just can't be bothered. It's the nice thing about G+, thus far links to writer's articles aren't muddied up with fools and jibber-jabber.
