One of the most beautiful spaces in the city bar none. Service is friendly and prompt. Hosts are uptight and dismissive but they do work in a hectic environment. The food is fresh and actually still hot when it makes it to the table. More so the pastries in the front of house are worth the visit alone!!! You cannot leave without something!

Very New York. I come here often just to look around and pretend like I'm going to buy something lol. It's a cool atmosphere that is refreshing and stimulating. I've heard the pancakes are really good, as if normal pancakes could get any better. The pizza is always a good choice and get a cocktail with fresh fruit ingredients.

Amazing, Bottega Louie is a delicious place. My girlfriend and I tried the lobster hash and smoked salmon benedict both very good. Portobello fries are also a must try. One thing I don't particularly like is how unorganized the restaurant seems. Piles of people standing around its hard to tell where the lines are if you've never been here before, whether you're trying to get a table for brunch or buying desserts to go. People just stand there in circles taking up space, on a busy Sunday brunch its ridiculous. Also why would you bring children and let them run around keep your animals at home.

The deserts are divine! The food fresh and well prepared. The environment casual sheik. Come a little early, or a little late to avoid the crowds. Also great place to meet for breakfast. Don't forget the fresh squeezed orange juice.

Exceptional quality! The food was so good. I ordered the Lobster hash, and noticed they added one Brussels sprout that was filled with flavor. I like to cook from time to time, but never thought of something so subtle adding to the dish, just excellent! My girlfriend ordered the french toast, which was also made perfectly - soft with great taste! Attention to detail! The servers took down my last name, and then walked up to me after 10 minutes, even though there was several people waiting, they remembered who I was. We also used their free wi-fi, and received an email thanking us for our visit. I've never been to a restaurant that was so exceptional at little things. Definitely going back A+ in my book.

WOW... super surprised how good the ratings are on this place. Either we went on a bad night, or these folks leaving reviews need to travel more and experience what a great restaurant should actually encompass (sorry, no offense folks... but seriously). First off... it was waaay too dark inside the resturaunt at night. Dim is ok for sure... but squinting to see your food is just not appetizing. Though this I could get over, if the pasta I ordered didn't come out cold twice. Yes, TWICE! Macaroons were weak in comparison to the one's we've had in the past. Too thin, dry and tasted like old gummy jam on the inside. It's kind of sad because the vibe of this spot has the potential to be amazing... they just need to tighten their standards a bit and reboot.

I usually go here for the tarts and those are soooo good. If you don't like sweets, you may not like it but some are not sweet that much. I can tell you'll be addicted to it. Pastas, pizzas, and other dishes are tasty enough! but some were not my favorite. You must go if you visit downtown LA!

One of my favorite places for brunch in LA. I've been to Bottega Louie several times now for brunch and I'm always impressed by how they remember your name when your table is finally ready. Bottega does not accept reservations, so be prepared to wait. While you're waiting, you look at their delicious looking desserts or the cooks assembling the food. The restaurant is really loud, but it gives the place a cozy, happy vibe. I've had the chance to try several items on their menu. Some of my favorites are the Smoked Salmon Benedict, Portobello Fries, Macaroni & Cheese, and Sausage Pizza. All of these are delicious, but if you're here, the Portobello Fries are a must and this is coming from someone who isn't a fan of mushrooms. That's how good they are. My not so favorites are the Ravioli and Club Sandwich. You can do without either of those. If your meal, I also suggest trying at least one of their macaroons. They are on the pricey side, but they are so delicious. My favorite would have to be the Earl Grey macaroon. This place has never disappointed me.
