The Celtics entered the fourth quarter of Wednesday night's game against the Heat facing a seemingly insurmountable 20-point deficit. Although it eventually came up short, Boston made a furious rally by following the lead of two of its reserves: http://on.nba.com/1BrCcnW

Marcus Smart's time is coming. Last night's explosion against the Thunder is evidence: http://on.nba.com/1Gu1OVu
OKLAHOMA CITY – Homecoming games, especially for rookies, are generally pressure-packed and rarely turn out well. Marcus Smart, who played his college ball at Oklahoma State about 70 miles north of Oklahoma City, bucked that trend on Wednesday night. The Celtics didn’t quite pull off the victory after getting outscored 40-24 in the third quarter, but Smart’s tenacity and shooting kept the Celtics in the mix as they made a late rally that fell sho...

Boston fought hard to earn a grind-it-out victory over Indiana on Saturday night, and Brad Stevens wouldn't have it any other way: http://on.nba.com/1AEGvMg
Key Moment Saturday’s win over the Pacers didn’t come easy for Boston. This was a grit-and-grind kind of victory.

Dwyane Wade did all he could to pull the Heat back into Monday night's game, but Isaiah Thomas and the Celtics had other plans - plans that had the C's heading back to Boston with a victory: http://on.nba.com/1x9El6L
Key Moment Dwyane Wade tried to lead the Heat to a comeback win against the Celtics on Monday night. Mission not accomplished. Wade did everything he could to give Miami a chance. His team trailed by 11 points early on in the fourth before he began to look like the guy who won the 2006 Finals MVP.

I never thought the Celtics would play better after all the trades. Danny should be General manager of the year.

Without Evan Turner, the C's would have been lost on Sunday. Though the result was an L for Boston, Turner excelled: http://on.nba.com/1G26IuX
Key Moment Evan Turner had a chance to give the Celtics a win at the end of regulation Sunday night at the Garden. He failed to do so, and that play stood as the last glimmer of hope Boston held against Detroit.

Its def. is....I know they can make the playoffs but also realize they don't have the talent to make a run for the finalize.....There better off playing developmental players the majority of the Minutes and no being overly concerned about the result....Encouraging I higher draft pick to deal about or utilize this year, while getting core assets more experience for next season......But lets enjoy the rest of the ride either way!! Go Green!

The Celtics came out on fire Monday night. The Sixers? They couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. You know what that means: Gino Time: http://on.nba.com/1AyN5F0
Key Moment The Celtics came out on fire Monday night. The Sixers? They couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Add those two sentences together, and you know what you get at TD Garden: Gino Time.

This isn't baseball, but the Celtics have found their closer. His name is Isaiah Thomas: http://on.nba.com/1x9X95Z
MIAMI – This isn’t baseball, but the Celtics have found themselves a closer. Isaiah Thomas earns his money during the money quarter, closing the door on Boston’s opponents. The fourth quarter is his. Boston’s newest point guard closed out another team Monday night in Miami, dropping 12 points during the fourth quarter to propel Boston to a 100-90 win over the Heat. This wasn’t a blip on the radar. It was the continuation of a trend.

Brandon Bass logged a career night, but it wasn't enough to hold off the Magic. Read up on his performance here: http://on.nba.com/1aW7bD8
Key Moment Something happened after the first quarter of Sunday’s meeting between Boston and Orlando. The Magic woke up. Orlando looked lackadaisical and lost during the first period. Boston, to its credit, took advantage.

The fourth quarter was barely underway on Friday night when Isaiah Thomas took over the game. His personal run sparked the Celtics to an impressive win over the Pelicans, and this is how he did it: http://on.nba.com/1wcJjV6
Key Moment Isaiah Thomas has been called a sparkplug for the Boston Celtics. He sure sparked things up Friday night in New Orleans.
