Engineers can do anything :) #engineer   #engineering
The pain of being the only engineer in a business meeting is perfectly illustrated in the comedy sketch, "The Expert." The sketch was written and directed by Lauris Beinerts and is based on the (Ru...

Hmmmm... not sure about this one. It can be really good or a total crap... I don't like the fact that turtles look angry. And a bit too dark. #tnmnt

Well it would make sense for it to have a dark tone. Remember that it was a originally a comic book with a darker tone before it was a cartoon.

Don't know who came up with the idea of a cafe where you can play board games but I want to shake his hand. This is one of if not the my favorite place in the city now. You come in, pay $5 and play as many games as you want the whole day. Number of games is huge. From Catan to "small world"and a bunch of others I've never heard of. I'm not even mentioning basic one like chess and monopoly. Oh and by the way their coffee is better than Starbucks. You can come with friends and part together or come alone and plat with people already there. I can't wait to go there again.

I went here for a light meal and really liked it. I got a French onion soup and nachos plate with a bunch of toppings. Both were rally tasty and filled me up more than I wanted. I didn't try anything from the bar or any of their sandwiches. But only because I never got back to this place since wanted to explore others. Adjacent table ordered those poboys and they looked really good. I was just to full to eat anything else.

It's big. It's very cheap. It's pretty fun. But the rental skates are horrible. They look like they are from the first Olympics here, which were held we in... 1932? I could feel the blade with my sole. So if you are planning to come you better have your own skates.

Wow. Extremely tasty and extremely expensive place. The are two restaurants inside. One is bar and grill, which is cheaper, and one is an authentic steak house. We were suppose to go to the bar and grill and had a reservation for about a week. But when we got there they told us they have a reservation but bar and grill if full. So they set us in the steak house. Food was really good, although I'm not the big meat lover. Or to be specific I don't like big chunks of meat. And that's basically what was there. They are famous for their stake so that's what I ordered. I had an enormous piece of meat on my plate. And nothing else. Sides had to be ordered separately and we ordered several to share. I was able to finish only a half of my steak and I can't lie it was delicious. The only unpleasant part of it was it's price. 50$ for a piece of meat! So you get the idea. The place is very fancy. Everyone there by the way was dressed up except our table ( bunch of engineers in t-shirts and jeans). Maybe bar and grill is different but I wouldn't go to the steak house again.

I love crepes. And this place makes delicious ones. You have to come early because there is a line usually. Especially if you want to sit inside, they don't have a lot of tables. There was only one person making crepes so the service was a bit slow, but when we got our order it was totally worth the wait. Delicious. Amazing place to have breakfast. I just wish they open a little earlier. They start at 8 am and I was in Lake Placid to ski so preferred to leave to the mountain at 8 am.

Amazing place. I meant to go to a German restaurant for a while and this was an amazing find. They have a bar on the first floor and a restaurant on the second. The food was just magnificent. I had a Frankfurter Teller sausage and it was delicious. And the mashed potato... and the sauce... and pickles... oh, i'm getting hungry again. If you go with the Frankfurter you will not lose. I tried other sausages my friends got and non of those were better then the Frankfurter .The beer selection was good too. We had a perfect dinner. It's a bit too far from my house but i can't wait to go there again. Now i can't stop about that tasty Frankfurter.

One of the best place in this town that I've been to. Very good for a tasty dinner and a good drink after a day of skiing. Me and my wife decided to get a burger here and if I remember correctly they only have two on the menu. I got the regular one and it was delicious. My wife got the one with mushrooms and it was discussing. It tasted like it was soaked in vinegar. So after two bites she changed it to a regular one. They changed it without any problems. The service was very good in general. They have a full bar and a decent beer selection. Their glasses for cocktails are amassing. They look like a jar with a handle. I really enjoyed this place.
