A very very old recipe from the Piedmont area to be used with your Bonny Vita white truffle Salsa Reale: White Truffle Risotto with Sausages and Rhum.

Ingredients for 4 people: 300 gr. rice, 300 gr. of sausage, 1 glass of rhum, 1/2 onion, a carrot, a stalk of celery, a clove of garlic, extra virgin olive oil, a pint of vegetable broth, butter, cheese grated parmesan, salt and pepper and Bonny Vita Salsa Reale 

Chop half an onion, a carrot and a stick of celery and let brown in olive oil. Add a clove of garlic and cook it until it is golden, then remove it. Crumble the sausage and sauté over low heat. Add the rice and pour a glass of rhum and stir until the rhum is evaporated. Continue to cook the rice adding the broth until the risotto is ready. Check the risotto if it is salty enough (in this case add same salt if you wish), add the black pepper, one jar of Bonny Vita white truffle Salsa Reale and mix everything together. Add a little bit of butter if the risotto is not creamy enough. Serve your risotto with grated grana padano or parmesan cheese.
