Took part in a TV show, which has now aired - and available online! 50 strangers help one person with a life-changing dilemma. Episode one focused on Cathie's question: Do I have a baby on my own at 40 or wait for Mister Right? You tell me, did we make the right decision?

Hey Jason, I'll send you an email. Long story short: the Readers' Choice Awards at About.com were cancelled, I think, last year.

Interviewed by Total Betty about whether or not the 'rules' of dating still exist. So much fun!  http://bit.ly/18jD0Q1
Dating has arguably never been as confusing as it is in the 21st century. Singles trying to find love today not only have to contend with hookup culture, friends with benefits and flirting via text...

The dating scams article is from another post; I think I originally wrote it in 2007 and have updated it since.... one related article just the other day... thousands of replies now, with people still posting daily to it. It's pretty much (sadly) as relevant now as it was then...

I was treated like royalty here. Might be the Canadian accent. Still, was offered tea, and then the tea box (look at the pictures!) Of which I grabbed a few to go from staff suggestions. Tea is from Pekoe Tea in Edinburgh... which made me giggle as these was my last stop before IOM. Outdoor seating, no rush, lots of cakes and scones if that's your thing.

It's crowded. I mean, the most crowded, big grocery store I've ever been to. Constantly shuffling to let people by or through, it makes it challenging to get in and out quickly. Plan for it! Plus, an odd layout... I found baking goods in three different places. No marscapone either, yet M&S CA carries it. Still, biggest and cheapest that I've found on IOM, and lovely service.

Not a happy camper. The bus dropped me off here at 2:00AM on a dark, cold night - nothing is open. I mean NOTHING, not even the Tim Horton's a few blocks away that's supposedly open 24 hours. My connection was several hours away, what am I supposed to do? I slept on a bench, a bit fearful of wildlife, and shivered myself awake a few times. Around 6:00AM the train station attached to Greyhound opened, and they invited me in to use the bathroom, have a free coffee, and sit to warm up. I cried I was so happy with their service... the Greyhound, not so much.

Beautiful venue with huge glass windows to let in light, and allow you to people watch. Lots of plugs, seating, various levels of seating, and accommodations for folks with special needs. Having said that, the bathrooms aren't accessible to all, unless you can manage a few stairs and a smaller space. Staff were friendly, quick and helpful, happy to stop for a chat. I'd definitely return, especially for the WiFi - which seems difficult to locate in Edinburgh.

These guys saved my butt when another accommodation didn't show up at the prearranged going to check me in, and didn't answer phone calls. Tune, however, graciously took me last minute, gave me great advice, and sits right in the middle of everything. I'll definitely stay again when I'm in Liverpool.

Always happy here; been a few times while waiting for a bus. They'll let you stay - even if they're closed - as long as you're waiting for a bus. WiFi, lots of plugs, even pay phones at your table. Food is solid, standard stick-to-your-ribs fare, nothing fancy.
