I quit my job as a service clerk. Now I'm a full-time non-fiction self-help writer. When I am overwhelmed by a problem I get passionate about finding the best solutions and when I find those solutions--I write about it so that others won't have to struggle or do the research to get to the solutions.
When my sons were toddlers, I struggled to get organized and to be the best possible mother to them. I started to write about parenting and home organization and helped to run a forum on home based businesses.
When my husband was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, I struggled to keep our marriage together and to keep him as stable as possible. I started to write about bipolar disorder and how to be successful in living with someone with bipolar disorder.
In between I've written about a lot of issues that affect me and I've heard from a lot of people that the things I write have helped them to live better lives.
I've often wished that I could write full-time for money, but writing to help people was always more important to me.
My latest book is available on smashwords where you can set your price and get it free if you need it now and don't have the money or you can pay a dollar or two to help me spend more time helping people instead of having to take a job. It is also available on Amazon and almost anywhere else online that books are found. The paperback is on Amazon or Lulu.
