These indoor allergens are significant to the trigger of asthma and allergy attacks. Poor air quality can happen when there is improper ventilation of the house, which can contribute to poor health. Besides allergies and asthma, poor indoor air can cause headaches, dry eyes, nasal congestion, nausea and fatigue. The American Lung Association recommends the first line of defense against poor indoor air is finding ways to keep the pollutants from the air.
