The Hawaiian name for #spinnerdolphins is 'Nai`a'. They love to swim up the boat and say hello. These friendly creatures are "Ambassadors of Aloha."

This baby Green Sea Turtle hatched from an egg that was buried in the sand for two months together with an average of 110 other eggs. Green Sea turtles can live up to 80 to 100 years and weigh about 350 pounds at 4 feet of lenght. Should you be so lucky and meet one of them in the Hawaiian waters remember to keep your distance and never touch them. Just observe, be mesmerized and give them your Aloha!

The ornate gate at the entrance to Kona's historic Hulihe'e Palace carries the state motto of Hawaii "Ua Mau ke Ea o ka 'Āina i ka Pono" (The Life of the Land is Perpetuated in Righteousness). It is attributed to King Kamehameha III who used it in an address upon the restoration of the Hawaiian flag to the kingdom by the British in 1843. Learn more about the history of Kona on the Body Glove Captain Cook Dinner or Lunch Cruise!

We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch – we are going back from whence we came…
