Alberto Moreno an outstanding member of our Bocuse d’Or family left us accidentally yesterday at the age of 36. After working in some of the greatest restaurants, the Chef and owner of the gastronomic Restaurant GH Gastro became Champion of the national Spanish competition of Cooking from 2013 till 2015. His passion and creativity raised him until the Grand Finale of Bocuse d’Or 2015, where he represented with talent its native country: Spain. The international Organization Committee of the Bocuse d’Or would like to express its sincere condolences to his family and his friends. May he rest in Peace.

Commis of french candidate Nicolas Davouze during #bocusedor 2015, Sabine Pendaries Issaurat from la « Maison Christophe Bacquié » won the « Cuillere d’Or 2016 », after 3 :30 hours of competition against 11 other women that showed their culinary skills. Congratulation Sabine !

Dan Arnold (on the right) , Bocuse d’Or Australian Selection winner will represent its country during #bocusedor Asia Pacific next 14-15 April, last step of the Road to Lyon 2017 ! Taking place Le Cordon Bleu Melbourne on 16 February 2016, under the presidency of Philippe Mouchel, the competition involved 4 finalists of very high standards, according to the judging panel.

Sven Erik Reena, who came 4th at #bocusedor 2007 for Team Norway, and won the Best Fish Prize of this competition, is honored by Michelin with a first star for his restaurant Re-naa in Stavanger. Scandinavian gastronomy to the fore !

Already a legend in the history of #Bocusedor as the only chef who won Bronze, Silver and Gold Bocuse d’Or trophies, Rasmus Kofoed (restaurant Geranium in Copenhagen) obtained a 3rd Michelin Star, and is the first danish restaurant to get this rating from the guide in the country’s history. Congratulation Chef Rasmus !
