The SEO Game Has Changed - ALL Because of Google+
While many are pursuing traditional, even dated, ineffective SEO strategies for real estate search engine optimization, times have changed in light of Google+. Now more than ever, real estate professionals and real estate agencies need to tap in to the power of GooglePlus. That means creating an optimized Google+ personal profile with tagline with your targeted keywords, a robust introduction and your bragging rights.
- tell us who you are
- what you do
- where you do it
- how well you know what it is you do
A total Google+ presence also includes leveraging your Google+ Business page and Google Local for organic mapped results. But don't stop there! It's important you engage, share your content, be seen as a giver, and show extreme value. By engaging, re-sharing content, +1ing, and commenting you build influence for others and that increases your own influence. As the saying goes; give and it will given back to you!

Now you can put the power of your real estate images to good use by creating categories of collections of images. Read all about it!
Our happiest Google+ users are those who connect with others around shared interests and passions. So we set out to give people a place to express the things they love. Today, we’re announcing Google+ Collections, a new way to group your posts by topic.
Every collection is a focused set of posts on a particular topic, providing an easy way for you to organize all the things you’re into. Each collection can be shared publicly, privately, or with a custom set of people. Once you create your first collection, your profile will display a new tab where other people can find and follow your collections.
Posts in collections you follow will appear in your Home stream, with a link to easily jump right into the collection so you can get to similar content from that author. Collections give you a great way to find more of the stuff you love from the people you follow.
Collections is available on Android and the web, and iOS is coming later. For Android users, make sure to update your Google+ app to get access to Collections.
For inspiration on interesting topics, check out our Featured Collections page here: g.co/collections
Create your collections today and share what you love.

Real estate professionals, do you "Think with Google"?
For real estate professionals, this is awesome intel provided by Google.
As the Think with Google article states, home buyers today search for and digest bite sized morsels of information to cumulatively make a really big decision. A decision every real estate agent hopes to help buyers make - helping them buy the home of their dreams.
Agents need to think like marketers, and need to be aware what information pieces are important within the decision timeline of a home buyer.
Fortunately, Google has all the data for us.
The first is the need to know how much I can afford. To help answer that question, agent sites need to make available simple tools like a mortgage calculator, Google states searches for mortgage calculators are up… way up.
Your website needs to provide high-value content that addresses that big question - how much can I afford in a home?
As the article states much of this search happens on a mobile device.
Agent websites also need to "be there” when buyers want to “chip away" at bits of research in their “free moments”. If your website isn't mobile friendly, you will not be there.
Another need agents should to be ready to address is “how can I (and my website) be helpful at each moment? Are my content marketing strategies "shaping preferences starting from the beginning? Do I offer the right experience for the screen and the context?”
When you build your real estate website, every department of your marketing partner should be engaged in helping shape your website to address these consumer needs for digestible morsels of information for your buyers. This includes the design team, the copywriting team, the development team and the SEO/marketer team.

Real Estate is a lot of work. Hard to keep up with a fire hose of information swirling around them. I get it.
In this video, Christina gives great advice on creating solid buyer lead generating landing pages for Facebook ads!
While the highest and best landing pages recommended by Christina were void of the agent's branding, we believe it's best to remind your visitors of your brand.
You'll note that the best landing pages are void of the main navigation menu so visitors are trapped on the page.
Here are several client examples based on Christina's tips:
