Incorrect tag activity
I have a tag called "read" but I just realized that when I click it, I get a page labelled "tagged history" which pulls up everything I just looked at - not the tagged items (luckily the tag I created called "history" actually pulls up the history related items - not my Feedly history).
Is there any way to rename a tag so that I can find the items I tagged "read"?

None that I know of. Problem is Feedly Team doesn't seem to do anything about it and I reported it so many times so far.

Does anyone know a way to automatically convert MS Word attachments in gmail to google docs format when saving them to drive (the same way you can automatically convert files when uploading them from the computer)?

After the lastest update I end up with 2 copies of the file for every attachment in Word format I "save to drive" and then "open with Google docs" in order to edit: 1 in Word format (uneditable) and 1 in docs format.

Thanks for your help.

I've been using the beta release of QuickOffice on the Chromebook for a while now and am really impatient to see its functionality folded into GDocs. Such a huge barrier for some people and I can't wait for it to be removed...

Is anyone using Google+ communities as a higher education learning environment? Is there anyone who would be willing to let me see how you're doing it?
Our academic year starts in about 2 weeks and I'd like to do a little experimenting with this.
Thanks,
Bobbie

Hi Marcos,
Thanks, but we don't really have a choice. The whole college uses Moodle but as I wrote, I add in outside things when I need something that Moodle can't provide (which is often) and also to increase students' knowledge about other possibilities since as teachers, they won't have Moodle in their schools.

Hi all,
Since introductions seem to be the order of the day, I guess it's my turn.
I'm a teacher educator/organizational psychologist from Israel and it's wonderful to see people from all over the world here.

I'm not a GCT but I am a certified "google-holic" who has managed to convince most of the team I work with, and many of our students, to use various Google tools for teaching, learning and communicating.

As strong believers in collaboration, our team faces two technical problems that Google has yet to solve:
1. the inability to track changes in docs (something we need constantly in our collaborative teaching, research and writing and which our students need in their collaborative work). We start off in docs and find we have to move to "Word";
2. the inability to receive notification when a document has been edited.

If I'm not the only one experiencing these problems, maybe as a community we can pass the word along to those who can actually make changes.

Nice to meet you all and sorry for taking up so much bandwidth.

Hi all,
Hi Adele - Great to hear from you!!
Thanks for the help but sorry guys, revision history doesn't cut it for us. We also need to be able to accept and reject changes. Most of our things are written by 3-10 people and go through multiple revisions.

I now about the notification option for comments but I'm talking about notification of revisions in the body of the document. The option exists for spreadsheets but for some reason, not for docs. There's a long-running discussion about this in the product forum (http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!mydiscussions/drive/fsYwbZ3hpjc). The discussion was marked "completed" by the docs and drive community manager but if you look, you'll see that her answer applies only to the spreadsheets.
Still hoping,
Bobbie

I'm trying to download the beta for android. I signed up as a beta tester (https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.devhd.feedly) but the only download link leads to the regular Feedly download.
Where can I find the beta app and download it?

We'd like to use Google forms as a signup sheet for different activites. Since each activity has a limited number of places, I was wondering if anyone knows a way to assign a cut-off number above which a particular choice no longer is available.
Thanks.

Thanks Graham. The video was a big help.

Just an update for anyone interested. When I went to the homepage of youpd (a new site for me) a recent video highlighting the use of FormRanger (mentioned by John) showed up under "recently posted". It's exactly what I need:

I feel like I should know how to do this but I don't.
Does anyone know how to insert a picture from Google Drive directly into a blogger post?
Thanks,
Bobbie
