I'm using Pro Tools 12 to record a basic guitar/vocal track. Creating Vocal Harmony using the Melodyne plugin. The pitch of the harmony was pitch corrected 100% and pitched up a 3rd. A delay plugin was used to delay the harmony vocals by 50ms.

If you want to here the complete song "Taylor Made" check it out here:

Enjoy!

I'm recording a Taylor acoustic guitar and tracking live drums. The key to recording a big acoustic sound is to recorded a second track with different guitar cords. Play open chords verses barre chords and pan hard left and right. The Taylor acoustic guitar was mic'd with a Rode NT1A pointed at the 12th fret. Minimum processing. Using EQ and compression on most tracks. Plate reverb on the snare drum and delay on the vocals. Enjoy!

I’m celebrating a milestone birthday this month with the release of my first album! Bob Sell 2015 is a mixture of acoustic and electronic music with medium to upbeat tempos.

I’m a songwriter at heart. I would describe my early music as a folky acoustic style with a heavy 70s influence. Today, with modern digital audio workstations (DAW) my songwriting is a little more electronic/pop sounding. I have embraced the technology that is available to songwriters and recording artist today. After the discovery of Logic Pro and Pro Tools, my home recording studio is centered around the DAW. The musical pallet that can be created by just using software instruments is amazing. However, I still record acoustic instruments like guitars and drums. The blending of these sounds create interesting pallets that took my music to another level. Although not my genre, I’m intrigued with electronic music and EDM. You’ll find some EDM influences sprinkled here and there. Logic Pro X made it easy to experiment and explore endless possibilities.

Please support your starving artist with a download of a single song or the entire album.

Enjoy!

That's what they make halon for!! Or, we could reduce the risk by doing 6 candles to the power of 10?

Better This Way is an original rock song by Joe Gilder. Remix by Bob Sell with pop synth undertones with a driving 4x4 beat. The remix has a hint of latin vibe with horns and congas rounding out the mix. Enjoy!

Joe, this is a great song Bro! Crafty songwriting here that is sorely missing these days. I love everything about this song. The vibe, energy, lyrical content and message, all awesome!! I could not resist the invitation and temptation to remix this song. Hopefully, my remix serves your song well! https://youtu.be/BUO-z40Wigo

Some of my subscribers are now your fans. Good luck with your LP.
