I spent a lot of time working on images this week-end in Adobe Lightroom.  This is a great tool and I seem to learn something new about it every time I use it.  Here is a really interesting post from Tom Shue on what the sliders in Lightroom (Version 4) are really doing.  Home others find it interesting too!

Joyce Tenneson is an amazing photographer and not just for portraiture. Her flower shots are delicate and luminous. Can't wait to hear her speak in person!

Will you be near St Louis Missouri next Saturday, March 29?
The St Louis Camera Club is hosting an all day seminar with photographer Sam Abell.

Here is a link http://www.stlcameraclub.com/Seminar/2014-Photography-Seminar.php

The seminar is all day and costs $25.00 (including lunch!).  The rate is so good because Canon sponsors the seminar!

There is still plenty room for you to sign up and spend a day with this National Geographic Photographer and Canon Explorer of Light. Check out the video interview (below the seminar info on the Camera Club web page) if you haven’t seen it and then register for the Seminar. It will be a well-spent $25 which includes a FREE lunch.

Minneapolis Photo Opportunities?

This image was not from Minneapolis (actually Yellowstone Park) but I am planning on going to Minneapolis this week-end.  I will have some time to explore and photograph the downtown area (on foot) Saturday and Sunday morning.

Are there any Google+ folks out there who could share places I might want to check out and photograph?

I have heard a lot about the downtown area and I am really looking forward to my visit!  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
