Could Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart make it in F1? http://bit.ly/1jTJ6ga  #nascar

Jimmie Johnson is an interesting argument to make. These sort of questions reminds me of the promise offered by various drivers from differing series competing in IROC. I recognize asking if a NASCAR could be competitive in F1 racing is a considerably different question than if they could compete with the drivers of other series. As a fan something lingers inside you as to how competitive NASCAR drivers would be in those racing conditions. Gordon, Busch, Stewart, Johnson, Kenseth, Harvick ... attempting a race even in the realm of hypotheticals is fun to consider.

Did Matt Kenseth set the bar too high for 2014?  http://dlvr.it/5R1Vhz #nascar
Matt Kenseth has not had the start to 2014 that he had in 2013, but he still sits second in the Sprint Cup standings, just one point behind series leader Jeff Gordon. Did he set the bar too high in 2013?

A bar Matt Kenseth has set highest this year is pit entrance on pit road. Namely an inverted pit stop. 180* pit stops, not once, but twice this year - perfect 180*. I mean some drivers can't handle a touch or a nudge on the track or on pit road and then there's Matt Kenseth - Able to react to sudden unexpected impacts in a way that transforms them into sheer technical beauty.. perfect 180* From the chaos he forms his own mathematic of fuck you!
Yeah he set the bar high for 2014 the bar keeps moving with demonstration after demonstration of a man that can handle the phernia of race conditions.

Round the track: Chase Elliott shouldn't rush to Cup in 2015 http://dlvr.it/5PgqYB  #nascar
Even though high school student Chase Elliott owns two consecutive Nationwide Series victories, Hendrick should take its time transitioning him into Sprint Cup, writes Bob Pockrass.

Gene Haas confident American team can succeed in F1 http://dlvr.it/5PG7Cc  #nascar
Gene Haas doesn’t seem concerned that no United States-based Formula One team has competed on the circuit since 1976. He plans to change that with a two-car American team.

I would like to talk about Number 9. Not #9 Chase Elliot who could have easily made this list, but nine as sequence in this list: "Ratings".

With crew chief Steve Letarte leaving after this season, Dale Earnhardt Jr. didn't know what to expect going into 2014. But so far, Earnhardt's strong performance has been a pleasant surprise.

Now that her car owner has a Formula One team, could Danica Patrick ever race in the worldwide racing series?

Darlington Raceway is supposed to be the "Track Too Tough To Tame." But young drivers Kyle Larson and Austin Dillon had little trouble in the Southern 500 and continued to shine as rookies.
