Why You Should Avoid Shared Circles on Google+

"They give you a neat way to compartmentalize people and direct your messages to the right ones. And because you create them yourself, your circles are organized based on what makes the most sense to YOU, and everyone in your circles is someone you have intentionally added.

But shared circles (circles created by others and then made public for anyone to add) take everything that makes circles work in the first place and undoes it. And that’s why shared circles are just not a good idea..."

Insight: Small and well curated circles still work

Watch out for those huge "Anything goes" circleshares!

I have been a photographer for more than 25 years. Over time, my photography has evolved and developed into a need to tell stories that move and uplift. Looking back, it was perhaps inevitable that I would fulfil this need and find my niche as a wedding photographer. Every love story is unique; every wedding - with its central and supporting cast - an unforgettable tale of hope, emotion and joy. It’s a privilege to be the person who gets to tell that story.

One of the 'new' wave og gentlemens barbers in London and following a 'no so great experience' elsewhere, I was very pleasantly surprised by the excellent cut and service at Ruffians. Good humoured and everything I expect from a top draw establishment. Iced water on a blazing hot day, delivered in an old school milk bottle was just the ticket. Excellent.

Excellent and wide range of travel clothing for men and women, including some smart stuff for business. Been using Rohan since 1983 and has never let me down.

Good spacious and clean apartment. Regrettably the staff weren't very helpful and didn't really know their way around the building, which is quite large and has more than 1 wing.

Visited the David Bailey exhibition Stardust today. Superb access and when paying the £14.50 entry fee you have to remember that everything else is free. The best portrait gallery in the world but steer clear of the expensive cafe and shop unless you see it as your duty to support this institution. The Bailey exhibition is over several rooms and broadly split into the phases of his photographic life. The classic images of Jean Shrimpton, the Stones, Michael Cain and Kate Moss where highlights for me.

We attended a rugby fixture here, which turned out to have the largest crowd at a Rugby Union match ever, just under 84,000. It's been a while since I visited the stadium and so this was my first experience with the rebuilt Wembley. Excellent. Not only has the tube station been rebuilt to accommodate the huge crowds that use it, but every facet has been expanded and re-designed with the fan in mind. Friendly helpful staff and even escalators to get up into 'the gods'. The in-house food is expensive as you'd expect, but actually pretty good quality. No cans etc allowed in. Exit was just as seamless and we were back at the car in Stanmore in about 35 mins from leaving the stadium. What more could you want?

Fast and fresh the sushi here is excellent. All the expected dishes are present and I say try the sashimi. The staff are under a lot of pressure here, especially at lunchtime, but always give service with a smile. Good effort guys!

Hugely fashionable cycle clothing shop and cafe. Packed full of cycling fashionistas who are prepared to pay big bucks to look cool. The clothing is extremely high quality, the cafe well stocked and the tv has live cycling when on. The coffee isn't bad but nothing to write home about.
