WiFi is special because it's open. Unlike other wireless technologies, WiFi allows anyone who wants to to create anything they can imagine, as long as they follow some simple technical rules. No need ...

"We live in a society exquisitely dependent on science and technology, in which hardly anyone knows anything about science and technology."

I am here for the day during a "working vacation". The staff and regulars are friendly and helpful, the place has an attached Coffee shop, plenty of room to work, and the wifi is excellent. I will definitely stop by again if I find myself working abroad in the Phoenix area again.

Service was poor, and I am appalled by what you get for $5 oatmeal.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. My family stayed here 4 nights while attending Comic-Con for 2010 in one of the Kids Suites facing away from the freeway. The room was decently size for the price. The bunk beds for the kids was nice, as was the separate rooms / TVs. The king sized bed was decently comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The air conditioning worked very well the entire time we were there. Other than noise from some hotel guests (when isn't there?) it was fairly quiet. The cable signal for the TV was horrible. It would often display vertically rolling bars of distortion. Free wifi is nice, but it was slow, it was usually faster to use my 3G signal on my smartphone. We asked for extra blankets, however we discovered one of them had not been cleaned and smelled of urine. This was definitely the most negative part of the experience staying here. The rooms bathroom was very dark and noisy, but it was clean and there was plenty of hot water. Parking could be a pain if you got in later in the evening, but I never had to park on the street. The continental breakfast was packed (Comic Con probably caused this) so seating was limited. Despite the negatives in the review, I felt like the good outweighed the bad resulting in an "average" hotel stay and when considering the price we paid (good) I would say the hotel earned it's 3-star review.
