Woe is me. I upgraded from Fedora 14 to Fedora 16, and with it from Gnome 2.x to Gnome 3.x. As a result, there are a lot of things I could do for years that I no longer can:

- Minimize windows with a keyboard shortcut
- See icons for the windows I've minimized
- Access minimized windows without moving the mouse all the way to the bottom-right corner
- See anything other than a blank screen when the screensaver kicks in
- Use everything up to the top edge of my display as my desktop
- See the date and time in the bottom right
- Stay logged in for more than a few hours without the graphical shell growing to consume all system resources´╗┐
