I love helping WordPress users. That is why I am a WordPress trainer. It’s all I do.
If you want to learn WordPress and build the site you have always wanted, check out my tutorial site BobWPTutorials.com. You will not only learn the WordPress Basics, but also how to install and setup plugins and widgets that will help your site grow. And best of all, I will help you find that perfect theme. Using Genesis Child Themes and WooThemes, I first take you through an overview tutorial that will show you what you can and cannot do with the theme. Then if you choose that theme, my second tutorial is a step-by-step guide to setting it up.
If you would rather have one-on-one help, you can always get that at BobWP.com. I also blog there with tips, tutorials and all things WordPress.
My background is 26 years of marketing, graphic design and website development. I have turned that experience into my passion for WordPress which I started working with in 2008.
The best way to describe how I teach WordPress is “non-geeky.” I keep things simple and straight forward. I’m not here to impress you with lines of coding that you cannot understand or have the fear of touching.
And I will not promise that you will have a WordPress site up in just a few hours. Because that just bothers me to mislead people like that. It is entirely possible to create the site you want, but not in two hours.
I have taught thousands of WordPress users through classes and conferences. I am co-organizer for the Seattle WordPress Meetup and an organizer for WordCamp Seattle 2012 and 2014.
So, yes, it’s true. I live and breathe WordPress.
