Introduction

I discovered WordPress in 2007. In 2008, I seriously dove into it and was creating sites for clients. I started teaching people how to use it in 2010.

Prior to that I owned a successful marketing and graphic design firm for 20 years. Because of this experience I bring a lot to the table when it comes to helping people with WordPress.

Hey everyone, I don't share a lot of my own stuff here, but was wondering if I could get a few seconds of your time to take a survey on your favorite or not so favorite ways of learning WordPress. I plan on sharing a nice infographic with the results. :)
There are so many ways to learn WordPress. How do you learn it best?

There's some good points in this one from +Mark Root-Wiley  ... check it out.

After reading it, I started thinking more about the centered headlines. Going into my own site and had one page where I did this. Interestingly enough, I made the changes on that page as recommended, and yes, I do believe it is much easier to read.
Last week's post on formatting in WordPress makes way to this in-depth discussion of a simple topic: text alignment. In nearly every case, don't do it!
