There is another time in our lives when the help and support of others is needed: When we are caring for someone who is living with dementia.

Introduction
Bob DeMarco is the Founder and Editor of the Alzheimer's Reading Room.

The Alzheimer's Reading Room  is the number one source of life news for the entire Alzheimer's community.

The goal of the Alzheimer's Reading Room is to Educate, sometimes Entertain, and Empower Alzheimer's caregivers, their families, and the entire Alzheimer's community.

In the Alzheimer's Reading Room, we offer "real life" solutions to problems that Alzheimer's caregivers face each day.

I started the Alzheimer’s Reading Room to keep track of the thousands of articles and many books I was reading about Alzheimer's disease.

Soon after I started the blog, I began to receive emails from Alzheimer's caregivers from all over the world. First an email here and there, and now thousands of emails.

I soon realized that Alzheimer's caregivers are often thrust into their role with little or no experience, training, or education about Alzheimer's disease. As a result, they are often overwhelmed and suffer from feelings of helplessness. Forty percent of Alzheimer's caregivers suffer from depression.

150 Million people have been touched by Alzheimer's disease, and 50 million are worried about Alzheimer's. Each day, 1,232 people are diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.

We do not advertise or market our service, in spite of this The Alzheimer's Reading Room is growing fast. As it grows, so does the collective brain of the blog

At the Alzheimer's Reading Room we rely on our readers to spread the word via Google+ ,  Facebook,  sharing, and by word of mouth at conferences and in support groups.

We always needs help and if you would like to participate and help us with issues like SEO, spreading the word, and how to improve the look and feel of the website, please contact us.

What you really want to know - honest and a good price. Won't sell you a bill of goods, or try to get you to get work done you don't need. First time in Jerry correctly diagnosed the problem before looking at the car. Result? The repair cost $139, as opposed to other estimates in the $800 to $900. That was 8 years ago. That old car is still running and Flawless is the only one that has touched it. Recommend with reservation.
