Stop once in a while and look at what others are doing on #SocialMedia. It's not all about you. It's about your followers and friends, too.

In my latest column for +ClickZ, I write about 10 BIG mistakes that many businesses, brands, teams and their leaders are making with #SocialMedia. What about you? Are you making any of these mistakes?

I ran my first Boston Marathon over 30 years ago and I remember to this day how it felt to climb Heartbreak Hill. I was exhausted but exultant, worn down but geared up to cross the finish line just a few miles down the road on Boylston Street in Boston. I'll be running the Boston Marathon for the 13th time this year, the fourth time I've run this historic, 26.2-mile race for Christopher's Haven, an outstanding nonprofit organization that provides housing accommodations for pediatric cancer patients and their families while the kids are receiving treatment in Boston-area hospitals. And, yes, once again I am looking forward to that long, arduous march up Heartbreak Hill. 😊 To support my fundraising efforts on behalf of Christopher's Haven, visit https://give.classy.org/bobcargill
