A Kentucky Sunrise
I was driving through #Kentucky
the other day and got stuck behind a major tractor trailer accident. The highway was at a standstill. A few other guys and I stood around on the highway chatting for about 2 hours. The accident cleared up just before the sun rose. I pulled off of the highway and discovered this little lake (or was it a big pond?) as the sun came up. The "smoke on the water" was gone just a few minutes after the picture.
It is not the best shot in the world but I thought I would share it, and the story. Most of us, myself included, are always in such a hurry, especially on #Monday
. Sometimes it is better to be 2 seconds, 2 minutes, or even 2 hours late; sometimes this means the difference between lying in a a hospital bed fighting for your life or watching the sun rise, and sometimes we never notice the changes- but they are still there. I personally believe everything changes everything, and that simply adding a lettuce leaf to your sandwich drastically changes the world, who will be living in it, and how it will look in 10,000 years from now.
Have a great week!
