I don't know about all bluegreen results but as for Boyne mountain in Michigan they are all liars and will do anything for a sale. I originally bought my package in Wisconsin Christmas mountain 3000 points every other year. I was happy with that, happy with the point, monthly payment, everything. They made me an appointment at my closest bluegreen resort to view how the points work and how to utilize my package. This resort was at Boyne mountain in Michigan. We showed for our app at 10:30 am the first hour they showed us everything we needed to know to get started with our package, then it turned into a sales pitch! They tried several times we always said no! After 7 hours! Yes,7 hours we agreed to 18,000 points yearly because they said we could not vacation how we would like to with out doing so. 4 days later I cancelled I called them told them the situation they walked me through the process and I did exactly as they said. 3 months later still no resolve. Now I'm blocked out of bluegreen because since I won't pay them for that package at Boyne THAT I CANCELLED, I will not be allowed to use any bluegreen resorts or any of their services. Now that presents a big problem as for the first package that I wanted and I pay for monthly and have not even had a chance to use yet I will not be able to use unless I pay for the Boyne one. I have contacted everyone in bluegreen they sent me up with an "advocate" to help on my behalf to resolve this, that's a big fat joke. All they do is email the director of sales and tell them everything they already know, well the director of sales,Dan at Boyne mountains still has not responded to my phone calls since September, I call twice a week every week like clock work still, no answer,no return calls, the guy has not even responded to my advocate or my advocates boss. If that doesn't speak volumes I don't know what does. Now all this being said I don't know if this is how all bluegreen properties do business but I know Boyne is all lies and sharks! When we bought from chad Wilson in Boyne he assured me that if it didn't work for me it could be cancelled he even said I could have 30 days, now I didn't need that because I cancelled after 4 days but still he promised then 31 days later he called me admitted his wrong doing then told me there was nothing he could do for me and I should borrow from my 401K, how ridiculous is that! There is so much more that happened in between that I've left out but this has put a bad taste in my mouth and very disappointed now that I was even willing to purchase the first package that I haven't been able to use yet nor can I. I truly suggest anyone considering bluegreen to reconsider!

STAY AWAY!!! What A joke. Thank go we only got trapped into the sampler package. Every time we ever call it is a nightmare. Customer service is awful. The hotels are trash except for the ones they have the 3 hour pitch in. It has been more of a headache than anything else. Takes the fun right out of vacations.

My wife and I were approached at the Bass Pro Shops in Tennessee. Sales girl there gave us the spill, said most people don't buy it, but we could get a free vacation for just listening. We took the bait. Made our reservations for April 18th 2016. Now the girl at the Bass pro Shop said that we would be staying at one of their resorts. We chose Charleston, SC. But, we ended up staying at a Holiday Inn. We attended the preview at Lodge Valley inn in Charleston. The presenter began to tell us he went to college there in Charleston back in 1986. He also stated that one of his professors told him the way to make money was renting out a product. His name was David Mitchell. He then told us that after he graduated he took his Professors advice and opened up Mitchell's formal wear in Greensboro, NC. Now the problem with his story, is his timeline doesn't add up to someone who knows the truth. See he told us that he just turned 50 years old. I am 51. I rented my High School Prom tuxedo at Mitchell's Formal wear in Greensboro in 1982. He would have been a junior in High School. So right off the bat, this company is full of lies and deceptions. Their sales staff couldn't answer any questions we had, and their managers did not know real estate law very well. My best advice is these folks are high pressured sharks looking to devour any poor innocent soul who they can convince is a good deal. Remember, when a company is telling you how good of a deal you are getting, your gonna get screwed. The point system versus the dollar is 3 to 1. My advice, save your money, you don't own anything and you are paying maintenance fees on property you will never see.

We stayed in branson which is beautiful. Bought our time share and thought it would be easy to switch since they said it would be. Got home and no banks wanted to touch it so we cancelled. Called back to make sure all was good and was told that I needed to send all books and the bag back or would be charged 100. How retarded is that??? You can take these books and shove them up your rump roasts!!!!!

If you go and buy anything from blue green make sure you read the fine print. My bluegreen vacation sampler program does have an expiration date unlike I was told. But they are really good at their jobs. Plus I can't view my account online to check my status or maybe use some points towards a vacation. The one thing you can count on is a on time withdraw from your bank account to pay for a vacation that you can't access. That 2 hr presentation turned into a 4 hr we can't take NO for an answer. Save your money. Don't trust em. Hope this helps.

TOTALLY MISLEADING!!!!!!!If you are thinking about going with the Land and Sea package for Bluegreen Vacations from a Bass Pro, BEWARE! We paid the $150 and did a 4 night stay and did the 2+ hour presentation on their version of time shares with the intent of getting a cruise certificate for a 3-5 day cruise with Carnival. We were told it was a basic interior room and if we wanted to upgrade we would only pay the difference between the basic and the room we wanted, on top of the port fees and taxes. WRONG!!! We just called the cruise agency and if we move from our BUNK BED ROOM, to a room with 2 twins pushed together for a king size, then we would be paying 90% of the regular price!! So we are expected to go on a cruise in a bunk bed room or pay the price of the cruise outright!! When we called Bluegreen, we were told there's nothing that can be done and that the salesman (whom we explicitly asked about the upgrade fees AND he said we would only pay the difference between rooms) should not have told us that and they would take measures to make sure it doesn't happen again!! BS, we can't be the first people to complain about this! No wonder they have a 2.2/5 Google review!!! — with Jennifer Howell.

I am submitting on behalf of my mom who is disabled. We love New Orleans but Bluegreen does a disservice to the city by not providing good service. Our accommodations for 4 adults with one being disabled, needing a scooter was awful. We were in a one room hotel with 2 beds and a view of the wall despite our request for a nice view of the city. We will not purchase anything from Bluegreen again nor would we do any type of point system. Although they offered to change it was too late because we had already unpacked our luggage. Furthermore, It should have been done correctly the first time.
